What's up, guys? Hope you liked the video. Unfortunately I received word about an hour ago that I wasn't accepted into the third round off PPLE. I'm very sad about it and definitely will be for the next few days but, I also know this is not the end of the world. Hope you have a better week than me ❤

Oh my goodness, I remember being completely lost when I first started reading academic papers like 2 and a half years ago😂 I can tell you it's definitely getting easier the more you do it! Fingers crossed you get accepted🤞🏼

Haha that's very hopeful to hear😄 Unfortunately I just got word that I didn't get accepted😭😭 I'm feeling very weird/sad right now and don't really now what else to say... Will be back to my positive self in a few days😂

@@JustCallMeMo So sad to hear, but you have to keep in mind there are so many other great opportunities in life and every decision you make or as in this case is made for you will take you on a different adventure. And as Imam al-Shaf'i puts it so nicely: "My heart is at ease knowing that what was meant for me will never miss me, and what misses me was never meant for me." Just never change your ultimate goal if your plan isn't working. Change the plan. I am sure you will find another option that will take you were you want to be and maybe it will be even better, who knows❤

Thank you so much! I have to say that I kind of felt this coming so, in a way, I already kind of prepared myself for this. That doesn't make it less sad but it does make it a little easier to process. I'm indeed someone who chooses to believe that every setback/disadvantage creates a new opportunity/advantage. I will just have to start to concentrate on my backup study option which comes with its own pros and cons. Thank you again for your kind comment, it made me feel very grateful and happy😊😄

Hi, I know this was 3 years ago, but I'm currently doing my study and financial plan for PPLE and I'm not quite getting how I should do it. Can you give me some tips?

Back when I made the study plan, I tried to work in as much from the recommended 40 hours per week as I could. For me, this mostly came down to school from 09:00 to 17:00, and room for hobbies and work from 17:00 to 21:00. I reserved a few hours on Saturday for school as a last resort if I didn’t have enough time for school throughout the week. The financial plan was quite easy for me since I was still living with my parents at that point, and had almost no other expenses. What I would do now is find out how much I need to just get by (fixed costs plus groceries) + how much I need to live comfortably. Then I would try to find a way to earn enough money to land somewhere in the middle. Does this help at all?

Did you meet all of the requirements/Do you know why you didn't get accepted

Yes, I did meet all of the requirements. They got around 800 applications for only 100 available spots. Therefore, only people with the best grades and people with the best essays got through the second round. Apparently, I wasn't a part of that group.

@@JustCallMeMo Hiya, I have a question! So the test you did, did you have to go to a particular examination centre or how was it carried out? :)

@@leleueleanor8607 I did the test in 2020 so, everything was online due to Covid. I think it's still an online test because there are many international applicants (who can't exactly come to Amsterdam to take one test). I don't know for sure though😅
