The idea of adding weight to counter the effect of nerves is GENIUS and it reminds me a lot of the speedcubing scene, where often cubes that are too light and fast, which would seem to be the best cube to the casual observer because you can theoretically turn faster more easily, are actually not good to have in comp. You want a stable cube, and most cubers want it to not turn TOO fast, so they will add a bit of heavy lube to slow it down a bit oftentimes.

I just received my Outlier+ and i love this yoyo, however I'm having issues with my string contacting the response pads when i try to bind. It barely binds sometimes which was odd, i wonder would a change in response pad be the simple fix? Compared to my other yoyos, the pads on the plus seem super thin. Any advice would greatly be appreciated❤.
