Most likely its looking for a new file but that file in there is not new. Add a new file to google drive to kick it off

Hi Kirk, I'm also having issues going further than the first modul. I'm getting this error: BundleValidationError Validation failed for 1 parameter(s). Missing value of required parameter 'file'. Origin Make Automatic error handler If you want to handle this error automatically, choose one of the following options. This will create a new error-handler route in your scenario. You can then expand the route in any way you like.

Im not quite sure without knowing more about the error but I think you need to actually drop a file into your google drive folder. If you have one in there, you need to remove it then add it back in

If i dropped multiple photos, would it still work? Would it post all photos in google drive folder, or wait for the next automation scheduled time?

It will post 1 photo per run. If you have a run scheduled once per day then only 1 photo will post per day.

Hey, I don't know where I made the mistake but from first step it is not jumping to second module, for some unknown reasons. Can anyone tell what is the issue?

If it simply wont proceed you can reset the trigger module to run with new data. Right click on the trigger and configure your options there. Alternatively, there may be no new files in your folder. You can remove all your files. then drop them in again to trigger

I don't know what module you're getting a limit error on but you can check your usage limits on make. on the free version, you have greater usage limits. If you're getting errors down the line watch my other video on posting carousels. It's an updated method of posting.

Seems quite complex with all the steps. Why do you need the discord step for example?

The Instagram API requires an image URL to be able to post. You can't post directly from Google Drive. The discord step allows you to acquire that URL from an image downloaded from Google Drive. You can put a different app at this step but we still need an image URL to have Instagram be able to use it.

why the hell would spent time on this if it posts only 1(!) image. And its broken anyways. Doesn't work.

Not sure what you mean. It posts as many images as you want, and if it's broken, then you did it wrong

@@kirkartman in your example, you added 1 image to the folder. Then on scheduled day it will post 1 image. Automation is over. What if I have 100 images in the folder, and I want to post 1 image per day for 100 days. The title of the video is misleading. I have exact same problem as the person below, the automation doesn't go further than the first module. It doesn't help to drop a file in the folder, i was moving the file back and forth all the time, the google drive just doesn't find the file and returns { null }. If i change automation 'from now on' to 'manual' I can see the file, but otherwise its just doesn't work.

@@sauer55555If you drop 100 files into the folder and set the schedule to every day, then you will have 100 days of posting 1 image. It will run every day. When you set it to "from now on," you are telling it to disregard everything you have in the folder already and only process new files based on modified time. If you are moving files in and out of the folder, nothing will change. The Google Drive module processes files based on modified time, so you would need to modify the file and then drop it back in. Alternatively, If you want to process files already in the folder, select "choose where to start" or "all" try not to troll so hard, my friend. I'm always willing to help.
