Liking that 15K. And the lack of music and fancy graphics is a positive as far as I'm concerned. Prefer education to entertainment ....even though lots of your videos are entertaining as well. Keep on keeping on!

Randy, I saw the title and said to myself, he has to be changing the hooks. A trick I learned about from your prior videos. My point: Your videos are effective and the info is definitely relatable and retained! Congrats on the 15.5k subs! You share some of the best knowledge available in a short straight- to-the-point way that is perfect!

Congrats on 15K! I tried the middle hook replacement with the 110 junior but, it made it sink too fast. I also tried it with the 110 silent with mostly the same result. The 110 can be weighted with split rings.

One thing to add is water density varies with temperature so there can be a fairly big difference in suspending lure behaviour on the same body of water through the seasons. It gets even worse when fishing salt water where salinity can vary by a significant amount in different areas,the most obvious in turbulent estuaries.

Randy, thanks a whole bunch for this tip! Several of my visions have most of the paint worn off. Especially my pro blue ones. Do you paint your baits or leave them alone? Another thing the stock hooks are hell when you get them in your big toe!!!👍😎

I just add/remove/downsize a split ring to the shank of a treble to determine the fall rate. Maybe this adds a bit of a 'click' to the bait. Test my baits in a large Pyrex bowl prior to fishing. The Barbarian outbarbs are super sticky.

Hey Randy, it’s slow but I knew you’d get there. And more to come. I’m old school too. Miss the old days when your knowledge of fishing meant more than how much you can spend on electronics. Seems pretty soon electronic advancements will turn “fishing” into just “catching”. Oh well, time marches on. You can’t stop it. You can only control what you do . I do have a question for you. Not sure if you know the answer or not, but here it is: why do right handed people cast a bait caster with their right hand, then transfer the rod to their left hand and reel it in right handed? You can purchase a left handed reel, cast it right handed, then don’t have to switch hands to reel it in. Fishermen do it when using a spinning reel, why not a bait caster? Just always wondered. Thanks Randy.
@randyblaukatintuitive3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching man. I don’t think it matters if you’re right handed or left-handed I think the main thing is just what she learn with initially. The muscle memory is pretty similar to both left and right hand retrieves. You can re-educate your muscles to make the switch but it’s really what is most efficient for you

New to the channel do you have a viedo on a jerkbait rod and reel and line set up for spinng rods and reels
@stevengiblet82753 жыл бұрын
When you want it to sink and change the front hook, is the middle hook stock or is it the hook you swapped for suspension?
@randyblaukatintuitive3 жыл бұрын
Are usually just replace the middle hook for suspension. I don’t really care if the bait sets head down or tail down because I’m usually moving it slowly to flatten it out

Doesn't the 110 suspend nose down quite a bit? Also does a suspending bait float or sink more in colder water ? ty
@randyblaukatintuitive3 жыл бұрын
It will suspend nose down most of the time. If you keep working the beat slowly it will flatten it out so I’m not concerned about that as much. The bay will rise lower in cold water and faster in warmer water
@jackbass96733 жыл бұрын
I catch more fish with the 110 when i change to heavier gauge hooks and make it a very slow sink.
