Thank you for sharing your story Lily ! I watched this video an year ago and I was unfocused and just surviving in day to day life. Thank you for showing that we ourselves have to take initiative and step out. It might not feel comfortable to do in beginning but we have to start someday if we truly want to change our life for best. After that first step, just keep going. For me, I've never had a desire to have a major purpose. Having a job that pays the bills so I can do what I like on the side is good enough for me. But what I've found that makes the biggest difference, is being kind. Being the one who calls to ask if you're ok. Offering to help and following through. Buying flowers while grocery shopping and giving them to your grandma for no other reason than because you thought she'd like them. Listening to people. Asking people sincerely about their life. I don't think anyone has any particular purpose they're here to do. But doing what you can to improve the quality of life for those around you is a pretty great one. You don't have to join the peace corps or dig wells in Ghana to find purpose. I believe we're put in our specific lives for a reason. People in suburbia need just as much love as those elsewhere. It's just a different kind. ❤️

Mytomic a little advice from someone older who learned the hard way. Your job has nothing to do with your purpose in life. Your job is a way to make money to live. Yes, there are people who are lucky enough that their job aligns with their purpose. But even if it doesn't you can still succeed in your purpose. In my opinion, everyone's purpose should be to make a positive impact in the world. Some may do it on a larger scale like Lilly does. For others it might be volunteering or making beautiful music. For many of us, it is as simple as being kind to the people in our lives. I found my purpose at one of the lowest points in my life. 28 years old and I am told my illness is chronic, has little to no treatment and will get worse as I get older. I will be in pain for the rest of my life and will likely never again be able to work. Out of depression, I turned to a local animal shelter to see if there was anything I could do in my state. Fast forward many years later. I am now 44. My condition has worsened. Recently I have been shopping for walkers a d will likely be looking at wheelchairs in the next 10 years. Every day is painful. And I still can't work. But I have found my purpose in helping animals by fostering feral kittens. I have a talent for it and if life had gone according to plan I never would have known. My impact is small, but to the 150+ kittens that have come through my house, it is everything. So pursue what you love. But don't let your identity get combined with your career. You can make a difference just by being you.

Success is different for everyone, for a lot of people success IS comfort. Success is never permanent in the sense that there will always be more goals. Goals are what keep us going. Be a good person, support others around you, have empathy, be cautious and be smart; if you have all of those, I think that's a good outline for success.

When you beat comfort zones, you beat life. No matter how much Lily has been put in a bad light because of her late night show not being that great, one cannot deny that she is actually a good inspiration and a role model, yes, we all have our faults and she isn't perfect but i think she can and will grow as a human and not being perfect is what makes her more relatable and real as a human. Keep up the good work Lily! Some beginings are hard and tough and I'm sure you know it. I'm sure if you work hard and listen to criticism (and not to haters!), you can make something better and maybe even revolutionary. This video is great. It shows how it really is, life is hard, you have to fight and maybe this seems easy and ah it's so easy for her to do that, i could never, it's so hard for me blah blah, but no! One of the hardest things for every single person is to get out of comfort zones. But once you stsrt doing it, you get addicted. You see how much power over your life you actually have. Anyone reading this, YOU, no matter what you think, i bet you can do the same and become what you aspire to be! Sometimes you might feel like you want to crawl back in your shell and that you can't keep going. But leave those negative thoughts away and try, because anything is possible! The change won't be instant (like how Lilly's life doesn't change immediately after she changes her attitude) but in time, you will see the results.

I watched this this morning and I was productive all day! I was able to clean my room clean my hampster cage, go on a 3 mile bike ride, learn a little Spanish and finish packing for a summer camp. I usually just lay in bed watching KZbin all day and sometimes I paint.
