According to true SMC, that's not a CHoCH because price never reached Higher Time Frame POI / Swept a major High... Such OBs usually fail and you get stopped out. That's a Inducement Liquidity.

@@wagon1990 No you have to watch the higher timeframe aswell. Look for points where liquidity is. Tops, double tops, fair value gabs etc. and only after that liquidity gets taken out you look for this setup

No, that isn't a change of character. The market created equal Highs on the last pullback, then broke structer to the downside. Though the entry may work in some occasions, but you can avoid many losses when you wait for price to take out those equal Highs then wait for a genuine choch. I'm not saying your completely wrong, if it works for you do it.

this works but the video lacks important information. the orderblock must be in a leg that took liquidity of higher time frame low/high. also the low to be broken (choch) must be the low that put the high that took liquidity, it cannot be a random low, otherwise it might not be a real choch and just a retracement to a ob and then continue with the trend. and the most important part, DISPLACEMENT, thats the only true indication that smart money is in. if there is no displacement there is no trade. mix all this and you will have high probability trades. we cannot escape multiple time frame analysis if we want to be professionals
