It is very easy. If someone says you Amajor or any major key, just put your finger tree frets back and play its minor pentatonics...For example , over a backing track in key of C major you can play all of A minor pentatonic shapes or over A major , you can play F# minor pentatonics

It methodically brings into focus the concept of using different soloing techniques (chromatics, caged, scales, arpeggios) to build useful and melodic solos.
