Nope. Bad team, tried It out 2 days ago at 2500 rating..usually 3-4 bad leads each set and quite impossibile to recover from that in most cases

Skill issue. Joking, remember that each rank usually has different kind of metas, so if you see "bad leads" everytime why not try to adjust to those.

If we're being honest here, most Grasshole strategies in general are bad and/or suboptimal. In the past OGL formats, Bastiodon was a great Rock move mon because its weaknesses are almost perfectly covered by Shadow Victreebel (resists Water and Fighting, and most Grounds back in the day would just get farmed down). However, since they nerfed both Razor Leaf and Smack Down in last September's move update, Grasshole strategies have been terrible for the most part; for example, some frail Pokemon such as Shadow Dragonite and Morpeko can beat Bastiodon in some shielding scenarios. There is one Grasshole strategy in Colour Cup that seems to work, but Magcargo just has too many weaknesses to cover effectively (Water, Ground, Fighting, Rock), and it's not bulky enough nor does it hit hard enough to make it worthwhile as a lead

Jonkus, do you think you’ll take a look at Mantine at all? It looks like it could be a major core breaker for a lot of the meta but I haven’t found a good team to build around it.

Use it as lead and cover it with mudbois (Quag or Stunfisk) and Ferrothorn / Trevenant. Don't ever use Mantine to be safe swap since WA was nerfed and hardly can flip switch with the fast / charged attacks

Nah I run Mag on the reg. Usually Incinerate/Rock Tomb/Overheat. Underrated Pokémon which can really go on a tear when you’re not face-to-face with a mudboi
