I love when a video from you pops up! Beautiful makes! I have a friend who can remember she everything she wore to past events (and sometimes what we wore, too) and claims she always has memories attached to her outfits! We've teased her but now we'll have to apologize as it must be a a real "thing!"

I really like the high waisted trousers. I am really struggling with making trousers as I am such an awkward shape, I need to go on a pattern making course I think. Love all your makes, enjoy the rest of the summer holidays

lovely makes as always! I haven't ventured into trousers at all yet but it is on my list!...I agree that halving that waistband on the CR trousers would be a good improvement so you don't feel the need to pull them down all the time!

I think the gingham trousers would look lovely with a skinnier waistband! The wide one just looks too big. Looks like you could also maybe take some fabric out from the outer thigh, but I'm no good at fitting pants 😅. The yellow dress looks so lovely with your hair! It's a really good color on you. I'll be making a jumpsuit/overall thing this month for my sister, it will be my first foray into pants in a while! I did shorts all summer so it's time to tackle the next bit down. Luckily the pattern appears to have a good bit of ease so hopefully won't be too hard. I have a couple craftsy classes on my account on fitting trousers, I just haven't got around to watching them yet!

Yes half width on the gingham trousers, makes you look short waisted otherwise. Love the vintage fabric sundress, I had sheets in that print lol.

I think your are right about the waistband. The center front at the top has a small horizontal wrinkle that shows up as you move, I think the curve going up instead of the u shape at the center front is causing this. I am wondering if there is too much fabric there, do you think cutting it down a bit would help? I think you are on to something here. These are fabulous and with a little adjustment you will be super happy with them. I do like the legs, It's nice to have some pants in your wardrobe that aren't tight for those days you want to feel a bit more relaxed. Nice Job!!

Lovely sewing you look great in all your outfits. The gingham pants pattern just needs to be shortened below waist in front and back make a tuck below the waist and take out extra fabric in back leg by drawing a line up centre back leg right to waist line down to hem and doing a tuck all the way down leg and check width as may need to added to side seam if you have the book Pants for Real People it is in there. Rosa, I love your videos and I agree the Cynthia Rowley trousers waist is too high. I think the rise from crotch to where the waistband begins is too long. I am sure an adjustment is possible which would make sense for those of us under five foot six .

I'm on the hunt for a slouch trouser pattern with zip and pockets for work. I've recently bought the Simplicity Amazing Fit 1017 and tapered the legs in. I'm a size 14 and can't really carry off the cigarette type look - so any recommendations from any of your subscribers would be greatly appreciated. I say your subscribers Rosa as you are a lovely petite shape so not sure if you will have the kinda pattern for the wider hip on your radar 😂. Damn difficult to find a decent trouser pattern I'm finding xx

I need some new work trousers as I struggle with RTW (narrow waist, huge hips) but am still quite new. Would you say that Tilly's Marigold trousers would be easy for a confident beginner to tackle? Love the vlog.. Feels so long since your last one but I'm just impatient 😉

I would shorten it at the crotch ( and then it should still fit you at the waist, but just watch not too much and then you can always do the waistband over if you need it, but I like the wide waist band ) and take in at the legs there if needed. As always great makes and thank you for sharing

Lovely makes, as usual. I agree that the half width waistband is better. One thing - I do find that the music throughout the video is a bit distracting and makes it harder to hear what you're saying.
