It's amazing what you can do in a small space. It's very organised, not cluttered. You can't beat a Kallax! I have several in my sewing room. My fabric is stored in the black fabric cube bins that fit in the Kallax, as my sewing room gets a lot of sun as it faces south-ish so I didn't want the fabric to fade. Lovely to see Bentley enjoying the view!

So good to see you again! Your sewing space is well organized and neat! My sewing room is my son’s old bedroom. I need to keep a bed in there for when we have overnight visitors and it takes up some room and I tend to park stuff on it. But, my kitty Zoe likes to nap there when I’m sewing. Take care!

(And now yours is, too!😁) Lovely organization! If I am ever feeling down and don't have any time to sew at the moment, I go and just look at my lovely fabrics for a minute or two. Your 'new' room looks so lovely, and Bentley in the Kallax unit is a riot ! You have inspired me to think of fabric not only by what it is, but by 1 m, or 1.5 meter cuts. That will help me to rethink projects in a more efficient way .

What a well designed and practical use of your room. You have now inspired me to get busy and have a complete spring clean in my room. I think that when your room is neat and tidy you want to spend more and more time in it. I noticed though that some of your stuff is right up against your ceiling and I believe some artex ceilings could contain asbestos in its mix and if disturbed the dust could be harmful to health if breathed in. I hope you dont mind me telling you this.

I really enjoyed this tour. What a treat to have Bentley in the frame as well.😊 I will need to get used to the new colour. I did like the vibrant green but the mint is lovely. I would never have thought to organise fabrics by meterage. That is a great idea.

Hi Michelle, Thank you for your sewing room tour which I thoroughly enjoyed, especially the cat cubby! I love the fresh minty colour of the walls - an excellent choice. What a good idea of rolling fabrics which have yet to be washed and folding those which have been washed. I will definitely be trying that; I am a beginner and building a stash, so am soaking up all these helpful ideas like a sponge! I am so very happy you are back. Love from Jill x

Wonderful video and very inspirational! My sewing space needs a bit of an overhaul but I’m limited because it’s in the conservatory and it’s mainly windows 😬 I do love a bit of Kallax though, and my two units together act as my cutting table, which is handy. Your video has encouraged me to have a rethink, though, so I shall be reorganising very soon. Your space looks wonderful and I can’t wait to see what projects come out of it in future! Xx
