I think if you can stretch it, getting some kind of Rolex for 5 grand is the best decision. It's a Rolex and often than not the steel models are more popular. Omega Speedmaster is also a great buy because it's unique. Any watch guy is going to respect it, no matter the price.

Those watches are still expensive considering certain things, and that's for probably 80% of the viewers here. I mean in the price range presented here you could get a new Tudor and you would be all set, or you could even reach for a Grand Seiko. Those are two solid brands. Also, I'd much rather get a G-Shock than getting some of the watches shown in this video.

"Tidlös" means "timeless". You should also check out Swedish luxury brand "Sjöö Sandström". "TRIWA" is an another swedish company who got worldwide famous by their "TRUMP" watch. My personal favorite and daily driver is "Pansar" which is something between U-BOAT and Panerai but more affordable.

I've learned how to do a lot of things on my G-Shock, but I still haven't found out how to stop it from chiming on the hour. Hope the chiming isn't running the battery down. Your rainbow G-Shock looks wonderful, I'm jealous. I have 2 calculators from Casio that run on light, don't even need batteries, bought them both for 10 or 20 dollars about 30 years ago, they both still work fine. Casio is an amazing company. Got a 3rd Casio calculator a year or two ago, an fx-115ES PLUS, it cost all of $15 or so and it's amazing, the display is a multi-line board for complex calculations, you can't actually make graphs on it but you can generate tables... Sorry for going math geek there. My point was: Casio kicks butt, welcome aboard. Glad I stumbled across this channel. I'm more of a watch geek than a math geek, though you wouldn't know it by this comment. Subscribed.

It is stunning and packed with so many intricate yet easy to use functions. A must for outdoor people. I then went on to buy a rather striking edifice dress watch with my birthday money from family. I'm hooked now. My watches range from very low pounds to 600 pounds. I am very fortunate to own what i have. I save when i can, it might take 6 or twelve months, when i am ready i buy a watch.
