It is a shame that such a good KZbinr doesn’t get the attention that they deserve, I’ve been watching your videos now for a few months and it helped me better understand art and furthermore improved my education in art thank you very much:)

Hi Dan, long term follower, first time commenter. Really love your work , you really help set me up on the right path with your perspective series and pointing me in the direction of Perspective Made Easy and How to Draw. My big resolution this year is to read less and draw more; as someone with a very technical mind I tend to get bogged down with the reading and theory, and I've undoubtedly learnt a lot about perspective, but I need to spend more time putting what I've learnt into practice. I've found that I am excellent at setting up the foundations of my drawings in perfect perspective and creating an excellent scaffolding to build on. But now I'm stuck with my rendering and this is something I really want to improve on. I love the style you draw in pencil and am wondering if you can point me in the direction of any resources (videos, books, etc.) which will help me to improve my rendering abilities, particularly in traditional tools (pencils and pens especially). Thanks for all the great content 🙂

How To Render by Scott Robertson, it’s a book I’m working through myself atm! I’ve actually got a video coming up in which I mention it.
