Cows and lhamas are just annoying. I only remember that they exist when the notification "your cow/lhama is unhappy and will leave you" pops up. Cleaning and feeding the cow all the time is just repetitive and BORING. Chicken are quite the same but I find it interesting that they can kill you if you're mean towards them (just like rabbits). Foxes and raccoons are just meh, sometimes I forget that they exist on the game. Cats and dogs are the best thing ever and I can't imagine creating a family without a dog or a cat. The CAS is amazing (actually I risk saying it's better than the human CAS itself). I was able to recreate all the dogs I have at home with the painting tool. Plus they're sooo cute, you really appreciate taking care of them, not because they can eventually leave (or kill you lol) but because the amount of gameplay features in cats and dogs is so nice that you end up feeling attached to your pet. As a dog lover, when they die, I almost cry 😅 I still don't have the horse pack but of course I'm gonna get it. I love horses and I'm really glad that they don't seem boring like the cows.

Deli used the nectar to bring back one of her sims in her LP and it seems that it doesn't have to be aged to bring a sim back, only if you want an extra boost. Last time I tried I used the ambrosia and it just didn't work. But as a fail safe you can use mc command center to bring your sim back. Just find the remove trait function (I can't remember where lol) and remove the trait that marks their death type and they should come back just fine. You just don't get a fancy animation lol

Tbh as a gardener who lives in the city and has no way to acquire horse manure, I would absolutely be wooed by someone giving me a packet of it. Shop-bought soil does fine but who doesn't want the deluxe stuff (I have to say I would prefer if someone brought it to my flat instead of just giving me a fistful of it in a pub and expecting me to put it in my pocket 😂)

I've noticed that sometimes the ranch hand drops apples (possibly from failing an attempt at feeding it to a horse), and then if you don't pick it up, the ranch hand will plant it.

This is a thing I noticed in my game. Whenever I go anywhere with an npc sim they immediately leave once we arrive. Even when they invited me. Before I have the chance to do a single interaction they just leave.

Im kind of doing my own chalkange where i can only sell or buy stuff from the lot i first chose and after that i bought 12 prairy grass as lootboxes and i can only use whatever i get from them to expand the items or house on the lot. 3:14 for my first time riding a horse with my bestfriend (who competes riding horses) took me on a local trail on her older horse. its a beautiful canyon cliff but the edge was super close to the trail. half way into the trail the horse im riding starts bolting up and i latch on for my dear life. when i looked a bit over my shoulder i see my bestfriend full sprint on their horse chasing us until they could pass. the horse ended up slowing down but booooooy was my horse in trouble 😂😂

What i've realized is that when a horse is pregnant (even if the game hasn't told you yet) you can't tell them to try again so if you want to know than that's the easiest way :) Also i had a horse just for breeding for a while and i she got pregnant first try every time (4 times) before we sold her again

I too had my sim date the ranch hand, Sable is very pretty, I do like Dawn who I got lol, I was going to take it slow but then before I know it I had her propose to her, the new world has so many beautiful places to do it, can't wait to see where you have her propose in your world lol! I noticed you have a Clark person randomly in your world, I had Auburn Clark that I moved in as her horse was too cute not to, she may also have a thing with the Ranch hand lol, and now it spawned another one lol, it's like a rule there must be a Clark NPC in your world lol! I didn't know it could take more than one try to get the horse pregnant, mine happened first time, I have only tried it that time, as still with the same family that I made currently lol. My mare was a rescued one too, she's very needy, but looks after the foal so well, cannot wait to see the foal! I'm a little behind I see and there's another episode up, so will have to watch that after I finish work! 😁

I love the new pack, it's a but buggy but that's expected. The only thing I hate is a gate locked for horses can not be passed by mounted horse.....who can make that mod. I like to keep mine penned in an area. But then you have to faff about unlocking and relocking the gate to go places
