Pepper had all these grandiose plans for her and Tommi's life together from the beginning and she inadvertently pressured Tommi into the wedding. Tommi was still trying to figure herself out but she loves Pepper so she went along with her plans. It seemed like what she was supposed to do and she thought it would make everyone happy, but it didn't feel right deep down. Tommi will slowly start to realise she wanted more from this life than gardening and a family. She still has big city dreams. She'll also start to resent Pepper for being so focused on bringing her mom back to life instead of paying attention to what's happening in their relationship. They'll have more and more arguments and after a while, when it seems like all they do anymore is fight, Tommi will have had enough and she'll suddenly just up and leave for San Myshuno to start a new life. Pepper will be left with their kid. They'll try to do the co-parenting thing at first but Tommi starts to bail on their appointments. She finds it too painful to be reminded so often of the life she never chose but she doesn't know how to communicate about that. The kid will grow up to be an angsty teen who thinks Tommi is a deadbeat and they'll blame Tommy for leaving and seemingly not caring. Their relationship will remain strained until the kid becomes a young adult and starts to understand Tommi's point of view too, and they'll end up reconciling. The kid will never want to get married though.

With my Plum gen of NSB, I had the couple stay in the same apartment, just separate bedrooms, so they could co-parent the orange gen. Then they slowly fell back in love, but kinda fell out of touch with their kid, hence the criminal. Tomi could do a similar thing where she moves to a different bedroom when they divorce, but stay in the household so she can actually parent her kids, since Sims 4 doesn't have shared custody.

I made the foolish decision of sending my heir to swim laps in the middle of winter. I forgot kids could freeze to death and got the notif she was freezing. Have an extra bed and have the Reaper become a roommate. He's a pretty good roommate. He'll often repair broken things for you, and do some cleaning. It's the Nightmare Legacy after all... With bonus days for elders, they are combined into the days left. So say your Sim has 13 days left with 3 bonus days, that means they had a base life expectancy of 10 days with three added on. Those bonus days are really OP. Especially with mermaids. They may not be feature heavy occults like the others, but on Normal Lifespan they get 30-40 bonus days. Combined with fitness skill, traits and completing the Bodybuilder aspiration, I had a Sim have 155 days as an elder mermaid. Lived long enough to see his eldest great-grandchildren reach adulthood.

As for Pepper and Tomi, a divorce might scrap your bring Anna back to life plan if you planned to make Tomi fish up the angelfish, given short lifespan and all. Otherwise sounds sad but interesting!
