He thought the words on the card in the flowers were about couples but they actually represented national women's day on that day and not other couples.

I mean seriously, it’s incredibly sweet of him[Sam Patterson] to give that to her[Monica Patterson] regardless of whether it’s for couples or for international women’s day! So yeah, even though you just explained how it is a mishap, I’m still confused! (I know that you’re going to say that you’re not going to read all of this and then explain it again, but at least hear me out and actually read all of this above!)
