The only problems I have with composer island is you can only get down into eighth notes without doubling the tempo, and there's only one cleft with three notes above and below, so if you want to get into different octives well too bad, there's only a couple octives to choose from.

if you change the time signature to cut time instead of common time, you get halved note lengths without changing tempo right?
