This movie actually got me weeping so hard just thinking about God’s loving kindness 😭😭 This reminds me of a true story I read of how a lady was rapped by two robbers in the absence of her husband which has totally shattered her to the extent of asking for a divorce and the husband is so confused as to how to handle the issue. I pray she finds her healing 😭😭 It’s just so sad how cruel the world is. Please let us not allow ourselves to become the Devil’s prey and tool. Let us be spiritually alert always and stay in God’s will🙏🙏🙏

I really have a problem with mothers insulting women when they don’t or refuse to bear children, that should be a discussion between a husband and wife.

This was such a good movie that showed how trauma can affect a person, and keep them trapped in the memories. It also shows the sacrifices loved ones sometimes have to make when they care. I can understand the request the sister made of Shade. I have seen so many families/relatives experience discord because someone doesn't like someone because of things said or done in the past, and no one is in peace. It was a hard decision to make, but best for all. This movie was a departure from someone trying to steal someone else's spouse, or working charm to get what belongs to someone else. Great story, and acting.

Fanstastic Movie......Pere! you are a Genius!....your gift comes so natural in any movie you feature. The other 3 actors/actresses were excellent and l love all 4 of them. Storyline was on point portraying rape, the trauma after, true and selfless love of 2 sisters, true undiluted love of a real gentleman who inspite of the fact that his wife could not have children and was not in love with him, still loved her all the same, the power of forgiveness and the release and freedom it gives when you embrace it.. I cried so much at the end to see that those 2 love birds inspite of their strong and true love for each other, had to painfully go their seperate way

Wow! So much emotion wrapped in a very tough subject to deal with. I love how the subject (rape-love-marriage-children-rebirth-forgiveness, you name it) was treated in this movie. Often, our movies don't give it the sufficient apathy to spur us to feel for the characters beyond the superficial tears and outbursts. This one here...It carried with it, the baggage of emotions that is the reality of dealing with the many challenges faced by the victim of rape, etc and with it, the audience. I LOVED this throughly and not just for the performances from the very talented cast...it was all in all amazing! Thank you.

It’s easier said but she was truly hurt by the rape incident. Hurting people always hurt others. That’s why she took her husband love for granted and thank God at the end , she forgave her rapist and things worked out between her husband. Her sister not marrying the rapist was the best because she would have been continually hunted by the hurtful memories. Forgiveness does not wipe away the hurt ful memories, healing does but it’s a process. Therapy + prayer and most importantly having a working relationship with God will bring one into wholeness

This is amongst my Top and very Top African Movies Very emotional indeed BUT a profound deep movie which can and may reflect a Real Life Story. I knew it needed to end on someone loosing someone because of the deep pain involved and the lost love between the pastor and her sister was the most appropriate love to be lost.For me there were many lessons pointed but the 2 most important ones were (1) It is imperative that one finds forgiveness and be able to genuinely offer it in order to move on and (2) while the Creator does indeed offer and freely forgive us our trespasses no matter how Big , we Must be prepared to know and accept that some regrettable deeds cannot and will not simply disappear we must face the consequences of our behaviors at some points.

There is no way I would married a man who has raped my sister, I do not care how much he has changed & given his life to christ. Bad enough he raped my sister, but on top of that he tried to leave her for dead. If he would have succeeded, I would have been left in this crazy world alone. Besides everytime that I close my eyes in any type of intimacy with him, I would picture him raping my sister. this movie is the best movie I have watched in a while and I have learned so much from it. FORGIVENESS IS THE KEY TO SURVIVE AND WHAT GOD CAN NOT DO DOES NOT EXIST. This movie made me cry and laugh at the same time. Great movie and great actors Nancy played her part so well, keep up the good work!
