Yes, it was a burglar! She broke in and was trying to steal something that wasn't hers. Dont apologize to the police have her arrested. You never should have told her about the watches you know she's a greedy witch.

These women born & raised in Japan, quit their jobs right after getting married as respect in-laws or so the husband is pictured as head of house hold and earns the money to support his family. That is just their custom. I am mixed Hawaiian, Japanese, Russian and Chinese born and raised in the USA was not raised with that custom, but have see this custom in relatives Japan born and raised in Japan. Glad I was born in the USA without those customs, where everything is about the man & his family members.

Hate to say, i was one in a similar situation as the last story, being asked to take in a nephew with serious behavioral issues. We were willing, but at the end of the day it would be my children that spend the most time with him, and them in the path of his behavior. We all sat down and talked about it. And the kids, though they love their cousin, couldn't fathom being exposed to him 24-7 with no place to escape living under 1 roof. I can't save the world, or all the children in it, I would if I could but no one can. My kids have to be my first priority, even if my SIL doesn't have the same values toward her own. If mine aren't comfortable, that's where the conversation ends. Had they said they could endure, we'd have taken him in without question. I do regret everything that happened to him, wished there could've been a way to accommodate everyone, but a choice had to be made and I'll ALWAYS choose my own children. He did regrettably have to go to a group home for some time as my parents in law were to old to handle him. And cold as it sounds, he's not my responsibility, he's my sister in laws. That's what Scott failed to realize, HIS OWN daughter, her comfort in her own home, and her general well being needed to be his first priority as a father, OVER any sense of obligation toward his nephew. If you can't have both, you need to choose one, and he chose to forsake his own child and put someone else's avoid his own. If you can't rely on him to protect and advocate for you, why call him father?...

these stories where the MIL's just move right on into the apartment of the child and their spouse, did they not take it into consideration that it could possibly be a violation of the terms of the contract/lease that they have? some places don't like when there are more adults than what's listed on the lease.
