It's very informative when someone with a strong sense of smell but without the nomenclature describes fragrance; "lemon cookies" is very helpful for a 'layman' like me. Have you experienced a lotion called "das boom"? They have fragrance so distinctive, I blind bought one for my seasonally dry skin. One is called "West Indies". They say it smells like Bay Rum, smoke, and dirt. That doesn't sound very good, but it actually smells great. I'd like to see a video of Shelby describing her tattoos and her plan for adding color.

I had the same reaction to BR 540 as your sister. I asked the sales person if he had sprayed anything on the card because I couldn't smell anything. He sprayed a second time and sprayed twice on my skin and I couldn't smell a thing. About an hour after I left Saks, I could smell it and I liked it. I couldn't imagine paying the hefty price for a scent that I could hardly smell. Weird. I've never experienced that before.🙃

Coco Noir is a bizarre one. On me, it used to smell musky, sensual, sexiest winter fragrance ever. My husband adored it. No matter what I wore, he said it was nothing compared to Coco Noir. Then when I bought a new bottle a couple of years ago, they were different. My old and new one. The new one is an elegant, not long lasting summery fragrance. It’s nothing like the old one! What happened?

I really liked this video. It was so interesting hearing what you AND your sister liked because it make me think that her reaction would be what people around are thinking when you wear it. BUT then, it was interesting because I think her taste was the same as mine. I've been looking for a vanilla and rose scent and now think I should smell the Lancome one. I never really liked Tom Ford scents that much -- a bit too strong and out there. Another interesting thing is that she liked Good Girl, which I liked at first. But then I got tired of it (like you) and found it a bit too masculine somehow.
