Sorry but I disagree with the attempted murder claim. He was a stupid insensitive asshole for giving his daughter sleeping pills for an adult as well as the way he treated his wife but unless he was giving his child the pills with the intent of killing her it isn't attempted murder. If the worst case scenario did happened he would get manslaughter seeing as he didn't intend to kill his daughter but rather he just wanted her to go to sleep so he could sleep.

That bastard really had some nerve calling his wife a terrible mother when he was the asshole putting sleeping pills in the baby's milk! What those doctors said is true, those pills were for adults and so giving them to an infant will more than likely result in death! It's actually a miracle that the baby didn't die or suffered any lasting effects! And all because the baby was crying too much and not letting him sleep? Asshole, she's a baby! They cry! It's how they let you know something is wrong with them because until they learn how to talk, that's their only means of communication! If you can't handle that, then maybe you shouldn't have had a kid in the first place! Or, if you got so fed up, why not just leave your wife? Yeah, that's still a pretty scumbag move but it's a lot better than practically poisoning your baby and nearly killing her! How this man wasn't immediately arrested upon confessing he gave his baby sleeping pills is beyond human and even Godly comprehension!

Latter on the husband attempted to break into multiple drug stores to get some sleeping pills. During interrogation he reavaled what happened, inculding that he attmepted to kill his kid, realing that he actually intended for her to die so that he could sleep, he even reavles that he didn’t care about anything, not even his onw wife, child, his parents, or even quitting his job and getting disowned. All he cares is getting some sleep. Realizing that he had the potential metallity of a sociopath and a psycopath, he was sentenced to life in prison without parole. Eventually an inmate gave him what he said were pills, but were actually drugs. Desperate for some sleep, he ended up overdoesing and died. Now he could sleep forever and never wake up again.
