I remember my mum worked in a factory at night until 11pm ,the boss put a bus on to take all the women home, right to their front doors, everyone was really frightened, what a great man his mother would be very proud of him.

How much did Sutcliffe in his claim for compensation for the attack on him in prison? What a nonsense our system is. That money should've been taken off him to pay for his 'accommodation'. Same as Rolf Harris, Gary Glitter, etc.

I really enjoy GB News. I know it’s impossible but I wish they could find a different way of funding themselves other than relying on irritable and pointless adverts. Does anyone actually buy anything as a result of watching them ?? I never have nor ever will.

This series is most certainly the BEST TV worth watching in over a decade of British television. 10/10. It does NOT focus on the sensationalism of an animal & butcher who ruthlessly murdered over 15 woman in a 5 year period. But more importantly puts a spotlight on the injustice served by the Yorkshire constabulary who repeatedly fumbled their way through the case due to appallingly bad management & their sexist, misogynist attitudes that clouded their ability to see past alpha ego & politics. 9 times the killer was in their custody & let go. NINE TIMES! The cast is pure brilliance with performances that leave you in complete empathy for the women & survivors of Britains most hideous series killer. The most shocking realisation of this true story is - NOTHING HAS CHANGED in British policing attitudes. NOTHING AT ALL.

Mysogony ,sexism ,disrespect on a monumental scale .This man is wonderful ,bless him .But females always need to be v careful and I fear many do not have the necessary awareness and insight in our time .They do not have the same freedom that men have ,sadly .
@mynameisGail Жыл бұрын
@joangrennan That's NOT true! The fact is that men are in just as much potential danger as women every time they go out the door . Everyone regardless of gender needs to be very careful eg where they go, walking around at night and always be aware of their surroundings , listen to their instincts etc . Also as for your comment on freedom? Well, don't know what century ( or country) you're living in but here in the UK women have just the same freedom as men and this has been the case for the last 50 years or more . By the way , I'm a woman myself.

Why did they change Yvonne Pearson's name?
@NSNEWSstation Жыл бұрын
Tv production companies sometimes ask victims families if they can use a victims name like Yvonne Pearson,and some families say no so they changed the victims name,that's just one reason they changed details,they try to respect victims families /when it suits them,if you know what I mean.
@Thirdfish Жыл бұрын
Thanks Jim, seems odd that she has been airbrushed out and given a fake name which also didn't appear in the victims credits either. @@NSNEWSstation

The sex workers that ‘clipped’ Peter in the early 70s need to come forward and shoulder some of the blame.They didn’t provide the service the unpleasant Sutcliffe paid for.They put their fellow sex workers in harms way. Unfortunately God ended up getting blamed because the serial killer claimed that God instructed him to carry out his murderous activities in an attempt to hide his own petty resentment.Hopefully this pleasant middle age motivational speaker will find time to speak to the UK’s working girls and motivate them to be as ethical as their profession allows and avoid a repeat of this dark part of South Yorkshire’s history.
