Apparently a lot of our issues are due to eating processed foods. I looked into the NOVA groups of foods and I am mainly eating organic and only whole foods and all my issues have solved as well as losing a lot of fat! Just saying in case it can help you too!

Thank you for opening up Emylee, hope you get the bloodwork stuff figured out. Looks like in general things are going well for you, I love to see that. Thank you for your content hun, I'm about ready to sign up for the shuffle vault so I'll see you over there. 💃🪩

Our little dog does the same hacking. Saw the vet. More or less the same things my doctor would tell me - drink more water and it's probably allergies this time of year. Keep Disco well and take supreme care of yourself.

I'm in the same boat girl. Thanks for sharing. I am about to start reading "When The Body Says No: The Hidden Cost of Stress" for the same reason! One of the biggest things that helped my skin has been cutting out processed foods while reducing stress. Have you read about seed oils and how awful they are? Look into canola oil/sunflower oil and check the back of your products for it. It's in so many things, including most plant-based milks (I no longer use those.) Meditation has also been essential for my well-being :) Wishing you all the best xx
@EmyleeRatzlaff7 ай бұрын
Yes I don't use any seed oils! And I also love meditation. It's hard when you feel like you're doing everything right and your body is still like🖕🏼 lol I'll have to check out that book though!

Did you get your thyroid checked? Including thyroid antibodies. I've just been diagnosed with autoimmune thyroid disease and apparently its pretty common. I have all the symptoms of underactive thyroid but my tsh is normal but I asked for my antibodies to be tested and there they were. It might be worth just having a look into it. I suffered for 3 years and I thought it was stress also. It can mess with your whole body Including periods, skin, stomach, muscles and joints too.

I second this (was diagnosed with hashimoto’s disease and hypothyroidism as part of my recurrent pregnancy loss work-up), though my periods have always been very regular, I experienced sudden weight gain and worsening skin issues and anxiety. You (Emylee) might also want to rule out PCOS.

I feel ya girl.. hormones are such a b#tch. I've also been struggling with my skin for yeaaaaars. It was SUPER clean when I was on the pill but then after I stopped taking it my skin got so much worse than it ever was before..I've also tried so many things already.. for now I try not to stress too much about food restrictions anymore, no coffee before breakfast, gym, shuffling, therapy for stress etc.. my skin is ok now but it has been this way last year and then during winter it got SO bad..I'm still struggling with the scars on my chin :/ I also got some rosacea which I didn't have before the pill.. I also heard that bloodwork can be super confusing cause it can all look normal but your body is still reacting to something. Maybe you can look at some of Jill Therese's videos on hormones.. I'm not sure everything is 100% correct (cause everyone says something different ..) but I think she has some great explanations. :)

Appreciate you!! It's such a struggle but we got thissssss and we'll figure this ish out! Bloodwork was definitely not as helpful as I thought it was gonna be unfortunately. Sighhhhh I'll check into Jill, I believe I've heard of her before.

My dachshund mix would cough like that and I took him to the vet and they gave me antibiotics for it. Not sure if it’s a dachshund thing but hope he’s getting better! 🫶🏽

Bloodwork results have never seemed to help me either, I just have to follow symptoms and signs from my body while changing things in my diet and supplements etc.

Heads up, Olipop sodas are NOT probiotic! They are PREbiotic, which is code for just having a little fiber in it. :/
