Yes!! Instagram got lost because it simply adds and nothing else. I get monetization but it has to be 25% ads 75% content or the audience starts to get annoyed

I second the idea of people wanting some quiet. I know I'm moving away from most visual platforms consumption wise except for KZbin. Really enjoy Threads more, comparatively. I think Threads adding ads is probably going to lose them a lot of people unless people are using it more to boost content that is less ad-like and more how people are using the platform as it is right now. Taking good posts and adding some marketing push behind it.
