Tyrael is the first hero I got to the master skin back in the beta. Just fell in love with the character from Diablo and it was so cool to play as him in HotS. Don't play him much now, but watching this video is inspiring me to get back!

I stumble into this build when I was just trying out Tyrael, picked talents that allows self-healing and anything that buffs it. At low level games its ultra fun cuz most can't deal with a tanky shielded fast striking Tyrael. So it warms my heart to see NotParadox displaying its viability at higher levels.

Great video NotParadox, finally my favourite Tyrael build is getting a buff. After lvl13 (law and order) I like to prime my E with W in downtime especially when the team is clumped, so I can pretty much clean the next wave with one smite or do a big burst of damage in the next team fight.

Yesss!!! Tyrael has been one of my favorite heroes for so long.. such an underrated hero, especially for certain comps. I miss his old OP shield that slowed/AA slow on hit for shielded allies, but can't have it all lol My build is similar, but I can't not take the lvl 7 AA speed boost and Move Speed boost.. it makes his Smite so ridiculous in so many situations.. its value, for how i play, is one of the highest value talents imo.. just the bonus move speed (45% bonus move speed for teammates and self on Smite) is a game changer for engages/disengages, and the AA speed is versatile concerning your other talents, but I mostly use it for the move speed tbh. A 6 second cooldown Smite that gives 2 seconds of 45% move speed, and 20% AA speed. I just can't give up Holy Ground on lvl 13, either... it's basically part of my toolkit as Tyrael, literally unplayable without the level 1 talent is really easy to abuse against enemies who let you poke without much repercussion.. just keep 10 stacks up, and AA or smite to keep it up as it nearly expires.. such good healing, especially with lvl 4 talent you took

Law and Order is busted good! :D A good trick to try is to bunch up prefight and giving a shield- to charge up your smite's dmg. Kinda like pretapping a fountain. I do love Seal of El'druin @20

Tyrael is easily my favorite hero, amazing potential for playmaking ability. I'm gonna feel so much more confident drafting now that he has a viable solo build, even if it's not meta. Gotta start climbing the ranks!

Just had the worse game running this build in qm. The build worked great for what it is but I has the most toxic team. I forget to mute sometimes but man, it's hard shaking off those losses where you didn't play amazing but they blame you for everything wrong

I never take anything other than holy ground at 13, I have no clue what the others do. Boss steals are just too fun with Tyrael.

3:16 disagree here. The attack speed helps against minions and camps. The movement speed also helps keep you alive and stick better when going for harass or kills.

Need better burst for team fights.

I dont rly like that lvl 1 skill, it scales badly and its just useless after 4, it was usefull for only 2 min. And even then, if you didnt have it at start you could have just soaked under your own towers. After that you said yourself that you are looking into teamfights so shield to teamates or even increased self shield would have been much better.

Yep. Although it does synergise well with the lvl 16 talents where Q deals Burning Rage damage which makes it fairly easy to proc from a distance. Just throw the Q out on someone and you will get healed up a decent amount without much downtime. The talent is probably better with the Armour talent on Q at lvl 4 as well, since healing become overall more effective with Armour. Probably some room for experimenting to see what works.

I don't know if this was recorded while playing or the commentary was added after , but oh man it is such a failure. It is the quintessential: "do what I say, not what I do " cause going for the back line on multiple occasions and attacking stitches is a major fuck up. You are contradicting yourself . Also please repeat Tyrael shields are CRAP . Hear him: "Big shields" , what are you smoking man? The conclusion of this build is don't play tyrael like that, cause it sucks. That ulty is good only for fun or if you are going for some crispy taco nuke combo .

And the worst comment ever goes to... This guy. But let's be real. Tyrael shields are not massive, but they are about 1/8 of his own health so it's a pretty decent amount, especially proccing every few seconds with Law and order. Secondly you say his build sucks but it's literally the highest winrate build at diamond/masters play, the only difference being he took Ardent Defender instead of Salvation. Even displaying your own ignorance by calling out Judgement, which was pretty foolish in your part. In fact not only is this build the highest winrate Tyr build, it's one of the highest winrate builds period. Many of the talents in it have 65% winrates, which is higher than anything on Xul or Rexxar. Which is to say that the only reason Tyrael doesn't have a 60% winrate is because people are still picking any talents and any situations except this assassin build thing. You're not the Varian are you?
