Love this video - and yes i have just the same collection of items to remind me of events and holidays - wedding cake flowers and papyrus from egypt with our names in hieroglyphics - porcelain house and gardens - a strange musical instrument with a bow and tiny drum - what is it called? Love your wooden items from Russia with the vivid colours... Thank you...

Erhu - thats interesting - must look that up - ive always wondered what it is and what it was used for - it was sold from off a canoe that aproached our nile cruse vessle. here is a photo of the papyrus and the instrument ..... ibsa.co/Photo/egypt.jpg

What a wonderful collection! You have so many beautiful things from so many places. They're great reminders of the places you've been. It's a shame that the crystal factory in Saratov is no longer in business. Their items (especially the crystal eggs with crosses) are fabulous. And was that a statuette of "Homer Simpson" on the shelf below the Florida souvenirs? I'll bet there's a story behind the acquisition of Homer. I couldn't pick a favorite souvenir. But one that caught my attention on your Russian channel was a crystal globe that appeared to have liquor in it. The globe and wooden stand were exquisite. But you didn't show it on your English channel. I would have liked to have heard the story behind that item. maybe next time. Question: When you speak English on a more regular basis, do you find yourself thinking in English or in Russian?

Hi, thank you! :) Yes, I moved the globe, it is in my study now and forgotten to put it back for the video, I actually forgotten where I got it from it was either Spain or Portugal, I think it was Portugal. Homer was before I met my husband, it was a present to him, he loves Simpsons a lot :))))) I think right now I do not think what I say and in which language :)))))
