KHRUSCHEVkas were built in the 1960s and 1970s. Would you love to live in this apartment? (Heating is good and it should be warm in winter)

Wow this city looks like what I saw in Poland in 1986. Amazing how much the Soviet Union got built, and how much of it is still around. That apartment is ok, I've lived in worse here in Los Angeles. I'd actually really like to see Kazakhstan someday.

@CrazyRussianSergey While Sergey has moved into his old-fashioned Soviet apartment, I'm going to the district town tonight to get my new sleep mask (and associated ventilator) set up and fitted for me for the second night in my flat in the sleep lab (I have sleep apnoea). Let's see what that will be ... And before Sergey asks: of course it's free for me as part of my national health insurance.

While you guys were living in these apartments they were building a bomb shelter in our yard because my Dad was a station agent on the railway line so when you bombed us we might have time to get in there and survive for a little while…….till the air contained no more oxygen or we ran out of disgusting MREs, killed by our own waste . Great alternatives huh? We had to go hide in our two room school basement or cross our arms, put our head on our arms and I guess get ready to die practice.😵💫 We were afraid all the time, I can remember running so fast from the school to home hoping bombs wouldn’t be dropped on us . I was probably 6 or 7. Crazy days. ♨️☣️♨️🙋🏼♀️
