New game :) My thought was "King takes 5". I think what you'll need to do is add up the value of the cards (except the King) so you end up with enough money, 36 ones and 2 fives for a total of $46. My thinking is that because using a 3 sided die that a few will get a lesser number so you run the risk of a bunch of leftover cards (also some people do not have a 3 sided die). Because you are using 6 challenges and there are 18 cards just give each one 3 cards rather than roll for them. I like that this is a randomizer that anyone with a deck of cards can do! I actually knew to do that, but I think I added extra cards when I was preparing for the game. I could give each challenge 3 cards like you suggested, yes. Good idea. I could also play with a D6 and put one or two cards depending if I roll an odd or even number. Hmm. 🤔 Either way, I really appreciate your suggestions. ... Now to think of a name for the game. ... King takes 5 ... I'll let that one marinate in my brain for a while.
