I watched this at work at 8 a.m. The smoke got me and when he confronted Ming, I started crying. Sol hitting Ming was so satisifying to me, he deserved it!! Althought I know they will put Joe and Ming together, I honestly don't want that. Ming has done too much and hasn't suffered enough. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL TONG GETS WHAT''S COMING TO HIM!!!

Ming deserved that punch he got from him, and he didn't hold back. The part where Ming cried for Joe at his funeral, I said, "WHAT YALL NOT GONNA DO IS MAKE ME FEEL BAD FOR THIS MAN, NOPE!" 30:37. Ming knew Joe would not make a scene in front of the top boss of the agency, that's why he used him. But that CEO or whatever he is should be ashamed of himself: why are you pimping your talents? At least let someone else in the company do it if you must. That's so shameful. Ming is hopeless and went so low. This and then later on bringing up the stupid contract, which should have been voided. I don't remember Joe signing anything: just tell Ming the money and the house are for my dead body.

I'm not gonna speak on the Ming and Joe situation cause I got too much to say yet I can't seem to put it in words. That being said, the person that seems to be annoying me a lot (other than Ming🙄) is Sol. I get he's a nice guy but he just seems desperate. Joe is a grown man and instead of just trusting him to make his own decisions and speak up for himself he's always trying to save him. It's almost like he's trying to make Joe love him by using his money, which makes him no different that Ming in a sense. The only difference between them is the fact that Ming is very possessive and toxic whereas he's just a man in love hoping to get his crush's love. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I hope I'm not the only one that sees it.

Let me preface this by saying up front so it doesn't stick out behind, that I understand Ming loves Joe and feels guilty because of how he treated Joe in the past, Joe felt pushed into a corner and took a job he shouldn't have and it cost hi his life. I get Ming wants Joe back because he realizes (finally) he's loved Joe all along because he saw his back in the movies. And if I rolled my eyes any harder at that concept they'd fall out of my head. However, Ming loving Joe and Joe loving Ming, doesn't mean they should end up together. Just because Ming says sorry and is sorry and is ready to be forgiven, doesn't mean Joe is under any obligation to forgive him. He has a right to his hurt and anger. He has a right to say that after everything that happened between him and Ming, he's had enough and he's done. In a perfect BL world, Joe would end up with Sol. Someone (who by the way adore him and teats him according to how much he feels for Joe and not like a possession) Ming is Joe's kryptonite. He has a weakness for Ming. Pretty much in the same way that Ming used to have a weakness for Tong.

I get ming's Back obsession ... i am as obsessed with Sky's/Pete's Back and other irl ones...might be weird but it's a thing Joe and Ming should be living on opposite sides of the Globe sorting themselves out individually I don't think Joe should end up with Sol. Ming's red flags are so RED that they make Sol's red, or potential red, flags almost invisible. When Sol pulled Joe on stage and declared him as his boyfriend, that was no fan service-he knew what he was doing. Joe was supposed to play a supporting role in Sol’s music video, and Sol changed the concept to make Joe the lead ( that was all for Sol's benefit ... he made it clear the first day back that he wanted Joe ). When they were on set and Ming called, Sol took the phone just to piss Ming off, with no concern for the possible ramifications Joe might face (he knows Ming is crazy). Sol has also been throwing money at Joe. The only difference is Ming is upfront about buying Joe’s attention and affection, while Sol disguises it as "help." Even a blind mystic could see that Joe is in no way, shape, or form ready to be in a relationship. Instead of being a good friend, Sol is trying to lock Joe down before Ming wins him over again. They all need to be alone. None of the three are ready for a relationship. There’s no need to choose the better of the two-it’s okay for Joe to be alone.

@@Nelly-44 With regard to Sol. He made his feelings known to Joe before he "died" and was willing to take a step back once Joe told him he liked Ming. As for the video, that wasn't all for his own benefit in that at the time he didn't know who Joe really was. He made Joe the co-lead in the video after he learned that Joe's mother was sick and giving him a larger role in the video meant more money and exposure for Joe. And the new Joe's humility in not wanting to tell him about his mother being sick reminded Sol of old Joe. He also didn't want Joe to get involved with Ming because of what had happened to his friend. Let's not rewrite what actually happened on the show. Right now Sol is in protective mode when it comes to Joe because he can see that Joe still has a very soft spot for Ming. And because of that can easily be manipulated by Ming. And the last time he backed off because Joe loved Ming Joe ended up dying. As for saying that Joe was his boyfriend, while a bit surprised Joe didn't seem to mind being labeled as such. Let's not forget he first had feelings for Sol. And the only reason Sol rejected him is because he wasn't sure what Joe wanted from him because of things that have happened in the industry. It wasn't until he got to know Joe and had gotten distance from him by going to Korea that he realized Joe had been sincere. But by the time he figured it out it was too late and Ming was in the picture. Is Sol in love with Joe? Yes. But he's also trying to be a good friend to Joe. And other than rejecting him for the above stated reason he's done nothing to hurt Joe. Even in this episode when Joe wanted to break into his former apartment to get some of his memories he was there to help him. And when he saw Joe's resolve weakening with regard Ming he got Joe the hell out of there. Sol recognizes the danger Ming poses to Joe and he's trying to keep Joe from making the same mistake twice. It's a valiant effort on his part. However because this isn't a perfect BL world Joe most likely will end back up with Ming after Ming has been forced to choose between him and Tong and Ming finally and without hesitation picks Joe. At least that's my theory. Because I don't see any other way Joe will trust that Ming truly loves him. And of course it's okay for Joe to he alone. However this is a BL so he's not going to. So with that being the case I'd rather he end up with someone who doesn't view him as a possession something he owns and discard at will. Someone who has blatantly disregarded his feelings and hurt him over and over again. An honest asshole is still an asshole. And we can't really even say Ming is honest because we have absolutely no idea why he's so possessive of Joe. Especially when they first got together in the past. People have theories but the show so far hasn't given any definitive clues as to what motivates his level of obsession and possessiveness when it comes to Joe.

Everyone talks about Ming falling in love with the back. Joe fell in love with Ming''s beautiful looks! The first time he saw him he thought he was the most beautiful boy who was only 20 years old at the time. He wanted to sleep with him and he did! And he also said he was shallow and that's why he let Ming get away with so much because beautiful people tend to get away with more than people who are not. Those were Joe's words! Joe is 30 years old at the beginning of this series i And 33 when he comes back. Let him make up his own mind! I think the real reason Joe took the other 6 months instead of letting Sol pay it off is because he did not want to leave Ming. He is still in love with ming!

The brother-in-law is behind all of this. He is determined to have Ming be under his control. He is after the family's money, which is why he married Ming's sister. Ming, on the other hand, is using his money and power to control Joe, who is in the new body. But, Ming is obsessed to the point that he has become vulnerable when it comes to losing Joe. Only Joe won't take revenge on Ming. So, Joe is the idiot here, because he is easily manipulated by Ming and allows the man who aided in his death to own him. It's sick. Joe has no self-worth. He is disrespected and treated like an object that can be bought and sold.

About Sol and Joe- remember that the first wounds in love Joe had them with Sol, not with Ming. Joe had a huge crush on Sol, he wanted to be with him a lot, but Sol- even knowing Joes feelings choose the way of celebrety, leaving Joe desilusioned- Sol left without informing Joe! In novel is more detailed. During years Joe moved on with Ming- well, he loves him more than everything, despite all bad things happened cause of a huge misunderstanding for Ming and also a long time emotional manipulation from Tong. We see already how much Ming will redempt and show his love for Joe. Sol came after some years back to the one who was abandoned by him, cause he wants now a relation with him...? Remember that Ming felt imediatly the connection with Joes soul in elevetor- but Sol felt nothing with Joe. All the time, Ming had a strange feeling about the new Joe being the old Joe- but not Sol. For those willing to have a Sol-Joe, I would say- yes, Sol is maybe better than Ming, but in any other context he would not be a lucky choice at all. Like "I love you, I am telling you this, you know it so well, but you choose to perform for yourself and only after some years (years!) you come back to me, to tell me "I was thinking better, I want to be with you, now I have everything I wanted and the only thing I need is a relation with the one who loved me more than I did, I mean you..."? He is doing now everything to take Joe back. Just because everyone was impressed by Mings toxic behaviour, how can you not see that the first toxic behaviour belonged to Sol? Leaving me just like that- not even telling me that you are going on your way? Like I dont deserve at least a "goodbye, sorry, but I am more important for me now, than you"? No way! Sol isnt a green flag at all- think clear and cold- he was just better than Ming- but definitly not an option in real love issues.

I think you are misunderstanding. Joe had a little crush on Sol a long time ago, but he has never loved Sol. That’s why he has never been mad with Sol when Sol left and ignored Joe. Joe said it himself more than once time in the series.

I love your viewpoint cause I was trying to find a way to word it and you summed it up. I re-watched the episodes up to this point and I think the show is influenced by the idea of fate/destiny/karma (good or bad)/redemption/rebirth. Joe mentions things like he is fated to be around the same people and similar life to old Joe and maybe he has unfinished business and can fix the things that made old Joe lose his life even if means seeing Ming through his redemption or downfall while also making Tong get his own karma. And yes Sol seems like a better choice than Ming but he has similar tendencies Joe made a deal with Ming whether you like it or not he didn't take your offer you need to trust him to do what he thinks is best for his situation. Even Joe talking to Ming at the bar he could have watched them and let Joe handle the situation but he does have some level of possessiveness much like Ming. Wut may not like Ming for inadvertently causing Joe's death but he still allows Joe to makes those decision but he will be there if Joe needs him. I am really loving the show so much and can't wait to ses the next episode

Yes Joe liked Sol. However you seemed to have missed the part of their conversation when Sol tells Joe he rejected him because he wasn't sure what Joe wanted from him. And by that he means people had tried to use him to get ahead by pretending to be nice to him. So he was weary of Joe's intentions. It wasn't until he got distance from Joe that he realized Joe was sincere. And Joe has never held that against Sol. In fact he understood where Sol was coming from. Let's not shit on the relationship Sol has with Joe in some vain attempt to make Ming look better. Because....nope just a whole lotta nope. And even the rejection from Sol didn't hurt Joe enough to jade him. Which is why he didn't see the humongous red flag that is Ming. It's why he trusted Ming and opened his heart and home to him. And it was Ming who shit all over that. Using Joe (in his own words to Ming) like a sex doll.

If IRL joe was my friend without any lingering romantic feeling towards, I would still do the same thing as Sol did and even more so. Also I do not know who wrote this script and I don't know the original material either but if the story want to paint you can fall in love with back shot then the writer is obviously can't tell the difference between love, lust and fetish. It's as ridiculous as saying you saw a butt cheeks shot or a headless torso and fall in love and when Ming explained about it to Joe his response was "it's too late!...?" A normal person would've said, "you're crazy, stay away from me forever." Though I must say, the Ming character is consistent from old joe time and new Joe time which is selfish, narcissistic entitled a-hole. Though back then they brushed it as selfish I'll intent to now a true love which again the writer obviously don't understand what live is if they somehow still end up "happily ever after" together. It would be a waste of a good premise as a toxic romanticization of selfishness, abuse and mistreatment.

I also want to know why Joe's body was only found now. Because in the novel, extreme weather occurred in the mountains where he filmed the documentary, and Joe went out to make a phone call at night, and was buried by a mudslide when he fell off a cliff. According to the novel's plot, there was an earthquake at the end of ep7, and it was this earthquake that caused Joe's body to reappear. Since there are no earthquakes or mudslides in Thailand...

I hate the TV adaptation of Joe's revealing his identity in the old house. In the novel, He came alone，and he went back to get his father's martial arts competition trophy. This is why Ming believes that the person in front of him is his Joe. Because no one would steal an old trophy that is worthless. Sol's participation made the plot worse. In the novel, Joe pointed out that Ming was wrong and ordered him to leave. When Ming rushed over to kiss him, Joe kicked him and ran away. Even if he would fall into it again in the future, he was sober at this moment. He didn't need Sol to lecture him, nor did he need Sol to teach Ming a lesson for him. It was obvious that Joe was really annoyed with Sol, and he just wanted Sol to stay away from his and Ming's emotional affairs.

In almost all stories not bl series also other series they show that love is more important than self-respect. Men or women should love that person which loves you and care about you also gives respect to you.I don't know why they have to make those two people couple at the end which shows on cover unless one of them disrespect the other person love and emotions.

Ming... Ming ..MinG!!!! you took me on a RIDE!!!!!!! I cried with you and for you and THEN!!!!!!! The only reason i still have patience with you it was evident from the first episode that you lash out when you feel vulnerable or backed in a corner and we know you have sweetness in you as we saw glimpses of it ( though if yu blink yu miss it ) I still don't think you deserve Joe anytime soon .. that being said ... both of you need therapy because Joe's standard and requirements are very low they are on the ground .. spread out like a carpet or beach towel ... and you Mr. Ming need to sort out your obsessive behaviour and harshness Well, Ming will come in handy now because he is going to unleash his wrath on Tong. Ming warned him to leave Joe out of his mouth, and now this! Joe himself was not even allowed to talk badly about Joe, so Tong will see that Ming's obsession with Joe outweighs any consideration he has given him in the past due to being married to his sister. To top it off he is in trying to win Joe's love "mode" .. Mi sorry fi Tong !!! Why didn't Wut keep Joe's belongings? They are expensive. Joe was probably renting, and Ming has the money-he likely bought the building. If Joe owned the building, I'm sure his relatives were happy to sell it to Ming, who probably bought it way above market price. Joe has choices, but in his mind, he is working to earn good karma by getting his (or Joe 2's) mom the best treatment possible. As complicated as the situation is he is also grateful for having a body to house his soul .. and for having a family ( remember all he wanted was to be able to go home to a cooked meal and someone waiting for him ) he will do the best for this mom . Also, while he can work to build back his own savings, his mom can't wait she needs dialysis NOW . As rich as Sol is, he's only been an idol for 4-5 years He is not Ming rich and this not able to give the mom the BEST health care ( he can probably give Good but not the best + a full time nurse) , and unfortunately, he still has feelings for Ming, which does not help his decision-making.
