We are already a huge fandom of this incredibly adapted novel to series, but more than all to this new amazing couple Poom- Joe and Up- Ming. They are simply high class acting. Ming is in love with Tong. Tong is in love with Ming’s sister May. Tong has not made any advances or acknowledged Ming in a relationship way except as brother in law. Ming is liking Joe because Joe looks like Tong especially from the back. But Joe doesn’t see it and he’s falling for Ming

You should read the novel. You would perfectly understand everything! The novel is a real written masterpiece. And the adaptation on screen is GORGEOUS! And this couple Poom and Up is a mind&heart blowing for all of us with their acting and chemestry. ❤

spoilers for anyone reading this reply reactors do nawt read love yall tbh im actually glad they changed things from the novel like the scene where ming kidnaps joe. in the novel there was obviously the literal 🍇 and thankfully they didnt include it in this live action. i actually feel like the fact that they decided not to include some things from the novel makes it easier for those watching to sympathize with ming's character. from the novel its a lot harder i feel like with this series they have really spent time humanizing his character more. ofc a lot of people still dislike him, and i mean they have that right hes by no means a saint. but to me i really like how they're building upon his character more positively in the series than how hes portrayed in the novel.

I just started watching this series too and I have to say, I'm excited for it because it feels really different from those run-of-the-mill bls. It's mature, plus more realistic in some ways (not talking about the body swap). Your reaction at the whole 'top-top? Fine, no sex then' situation was just as expected 😂😂 and it's what I said too - hey, there's other stuff you could do! 😂 But, now, thinking about it a bit, it's not an unreasonable situation. Ming probably did want just a one-night-stand so when Joe seemed unwilling, he was 'alright, maybe this is way too complicated', and Joe was into it at first until he realised the other guy wanted Joe to bottom, at which point Joe was like 'ummm, I've never done this before & you're a total stranger, maybe not'. The mood shifted and it was ruined for the both of them... The fact it happened two nights later tells me that Joe really fell hard for Ming & like you guys said filled in the blanks hoping that Ming was a great guy, and as for Ming, yeah, he's definitely into the superstar actor & only sees Joe as some kind of substitute for what he can't have... Excited to watch the rest of the series. I like the mystery aspect of it as well - they'll probably slowly reveal what really happened to Joe & why he died. My first suspect is Tong as well, though maybe it's some double twist like: Ming wanted to kill Tong, and he thought Tong would be doing that scene, but instead Joe did it? 😂😂 lol just a wild theory! I am curious, however, why Ming called JUST before Joe was about to get on that bike & asked him "where are you?" Hmmm Where did Ming think Joe was? Where was Joe supposed to be, according to Ming? Just some interesting questions, which I'm hoping will be answered by the end of the show.
