Man. I sold sooo much of my stuff a few years back. I have nearly all figures but sold all the vehicles and play sets. 😫😫😫 Burger Chef and Burger King had posters which were the same as the glasses (you showed) from 1978/79. I love the art work and have all those frames. What an awesome collection you have and love the vlogs.

Collection is quite impressive, especially in such a short time. I think all the Ian's Display cases really add to it (or just display cases in general in case they didn't all come from that vendor). I have a few of the ones from Ian's display but it does add a bit of cost to collecting to get those displays, so I only have it for a few figs/box items. Your collection really makes me wish I had invested more in vintage boxed items (instead of buying everything Hasbro released over last 25 years).... I'd have more space in my garage. I'd like to envision I'd have a collection like yours instead, so cool to live vicariously though you on these episodes.

Hey SD Rob! I get my acrylic cases from three companies, Ian's Displays, Collector Displays, and Gonk Toys. All three are awesome companies. “Modest” he says. Man that is a lot of plastic for one year! It’s been awesome seeing that collection grow. It’s going to be fun seeing you go through the rest of the runs. I just sent off a Pop-Up saber R2 to AFA since I want to test them out so I’m getting my own graded run going. One thing I’d love getting your perspective on is grading the vintage Topps cards through PSA! Being a sports fan with a VERY focused Philadelphia sports team collection… I’ve amassed a lot of experience with PSA over the years, and have recently been using them to grade my Star Wars cards (Vintage and even the online only Living Set). I probably have more fun hunting down cards than even figures. Anyway, can’t wait to see what you have coming up next Joey!

Ive got some Deka plastic ware, I just love odd ball vintage goodies. I recently picked up a Deka Pitcher on the cheap. The plastic ware is made for all 3 movies. I had a cereal bowl when I was a kid and my mother gave it to my dog as a food bowl, didn't last long. Can't wait 2 c your new studio, & thank u 4 the tour, U have a killer collection brother. Love the collection and look forward to more especially the graded loose run. That's what you inspired me to go after even though I completed a loose run several years ago. Currently have nine figures at CAS and enjoying the hunt for each individual figure again. Except this time I am being very picky. Feels strange though as I walk into a toy show with a thousand dollars and come out with one figure and tons of money in my pocket. But the joy is in the hunt.

Great tour and great collection. Congratulations on completing your loose run. That backlight display looks awesome. Oddly enough my Jabba from my childhood collection has a broken left arm which comes off easily if you move it.

Hey silver! Yea I know I ton of people who have the jabba arms broken! It’s a delicate weld that attaches the arm joint so if you have one that works, DOnT move it at all! Thanks for watching my friend!

I just found this channel as you were finishing up your collection, but I went back and watched from the beginning before watching the last three episodes. I really enjoyed watching your journey! I'm working on my own vintage Kenner collection (and a lot of "oddball" stuff) and your videos have been both informative and entertaining. And I really appreciate that you talked about some of the "dark side" of collecting too, such as budget and relationship worries. My own collection won't be as cool or as complete as yours (I won't spend more than $100 on a figure and I have purchased some Repro accessories) but it's what I want and I love it! You might forever be the Padawan Collector, but you belong on the Jedi Council!

@The Padawan Collector well I've been a fan since I saw the first movie in 1977 when I was 7 years old. I collected a bunch of the merchandise up through The Empire Strikes Back, but I was 13 when Return of the Jedi came out and not much into collecting anymore. When I graduated high school I sold the whole toy collection at a garage sale for $20! (Cringe! But to be fair, none of them were in good condition, and a lot of the accesories were missing). Somehow, I managed to hold on to my original power Droid, which I still have. Then in the 90s, I picked up a Yoda because he was my favorite. Then, in 2019, I bought a loose R5-D4 because he and I have something in common: bad motivators. After I bought him, I decided I wanted more droids, then creatures, and bounty hunters. by Feb of 2022, I had almost all of the first 21 figures and a handful of others. So I decided to finish getting the first 21. Just last month, I finished the Empire Strikes Back figures. This year, I plan to get the Return of the Jedi figures that don't have yet, which I never owned back in the day. I also have a complete set of the Burger King glasses, all of the original Marvel comics, all of my old newsletters from the Star Wars fan club and a bunch of the trading cards, among other oddball things. Star Wars has been a lifelong escape for me and I'm glad it's still around!

Moving a collection , from property packing, to labeling, and the though process would make a good video. It is a lot to move and more than a little nerve wracking. I really enjoyed the pre-move studio tour & collection review. So much wonderful vintage goodness. The misc stuff your sister picked up for you, the Dekka (sp) items, were used in my house growing up. I still have the pitcher & a bowl. Something I'd like to recollect in the future. I would love to know a little more about the grading process Do you have a video, or links to the grading company? I have a little experiment that I want to do before I send in one of my really old beater action figures and have it graded.
