Being an assembly coder since the late 70s it refreshing to see the enthusiasm and the big smiles .. It was fun back then, but somehow people got a bit too 'ego' during the late 90s and then came all the "by the book" and "oh, coders don't do wild stuff" attitude .. always be wild, I love the way you 'document' your day 🙂

I think you're too focused on this edge case of someone having discord and slack. I imagine it's pretty uncommon. My recommendation would be think about what this would look like in the future and implement your DB tables in such a way that it would be easy to extend as DB stuff in my experience is the hardest to change later, but otherwise not worry about this possibility on frontend and server, just make it impossible for now.

I'm not knocking what he's doing. I think everyone should make good money coding. But why would people want to pay for discord when it's free already and Skype is also free as well? I'm not understanding what's going on.
@JacobSucksAtCode6 ай бұрын
Why would you pay for a concert?
@ymvtech6 ай бұрын
Cos you've only seen one video of him. He built a tool for content creators and influencers to run a gated community which they can eventually monetise. Thus, Subbb is more like a PaaS i.e. Platform as a Service and not just reinventing the Discord, Slack etc. wheel that you think.
@Ohiostategenerationx6 ай бұрын
@@ymvtech I guess I can see that. Since discord is free it gives a way for people to monitise it and make money from subscriptions.
