Nikol I just love this series. I am 65, I am very self conscious of my face, I had squamous cell carcinoma on my face and had surgery leaving a 2" scar across my cheek which was devastating to me. I have always loved makeup. I am thankful it didn't spread but I am still very conscious of it. It so refreshing to see you unlike others focus on making older women feel special and confident in still looking your best no matter what age. Thank you so much!!

I too have been recently diagnosed with osteoporosis. (With a little arthritis too). Through a fall, i received total reverse shoulder surgery in Dec of 22. I worked with my fantastic PT a full year to recover functional use of my shoulder. Long recovery but you will feel stronger in the long run. Healing mercies to you. Having this "fierce aging" session with Nikol is a fabulous way to go into this journey. Thank you Nikol!!!!!

Her eyes and the skin around her eyes looks amazing! I am an artist and also have had issues with arthritis in my spine once I got past menopause and have to deal with pain on a daily basis. It's hard to want to look pretty when dealing with cronic pain. Her courage inspires me!

It’s so easy to compare ourselves to the “perfect” that the world projects on us, but that’s purely superficial without any soul. You are beautiful. I'm 71 next month. Also have arthritis. My first op was when i was 39 for my elbow. Bone on bone. Six months later had my shoulder op. Never looked back. Grinded down the bone and put it back. All the best. ❤❤

I have to add another comment. I think, Nikol, what you do and show for women is priceless. Showing women of any and all ages that it DOES matter what you think of yourself, that caring about yourself is healthy and not vain, that when you stop caring, is really when you stop living and caring about other things as well. My mom made it to 93, and up until the last couple of years, she wouldn’t go downstairs in her building to get the mail without at least putting on lipstick. When she didn’t care so much about that was when she started not caring about lots of other things. And anyway, the makeup, warpaint, whatever you want to call it, is FUN! Have fun with it, rewrite the rules as you say and believe that actually you can. OK, enough soapbox. You all get the point.

Andrea, you are gorgeous! I hope your next surgery provides relief and helps with your mobility issues. I can totally relate to the problem with acne scarring. It seems like other problems can be so easily resolved. Dark under eyes? Use color concealer. Don't like your face shape? Use contour and highlighter to transform yourself. Wrinkles? Embrace your wrinkles - they show a life well lived. No one says, Embrace your scars. I clicked on this video so fast when I saw the subject line. Nikol's technique of using a bit of glow and highlight to emphasize your assets like beautiful eyes, great bone structure, etc. I need to learn to embrace a little glow. As a former acne sufferer, any shine meant greasy, so I have always avoided glowy products. But in this tutorial I see that a little glow can do wonders. Thank you for volunteering to be a model for Nikol and sharing your fierce beauty with all of us.

Such fun to watch these kinds of vids! I’m 79 and don’t look too bad for my age. I’ve always loved makeup because, as a red head with blond brows and lashes, I desperately need it to look alive. Your makeup tips have been very helpful for me. My biggest problem is horribly dry skin so have to constantly moisturize. This woman is just lovely…and obviously very talented. Bless her. I just turned 77 and I am going to have my hip replaced soon. I am hoping I can get back to a life without pain. So this video was especially meaningful to me. I have many friends, most younger than I, who just don't care how they look any more. After that seems to come not caring if they put on weight, or how their homes look or how well their car runs and it becomes a downward spiral. There are days when I almost feel ridiculous putting on makeup and looking my best - buying another lipstick or new mascare (I love your makeup, Nikol!) Your videos are enourmously motivating and remind me I am not alone in my effort to keep life fun and interesting - to focus on the next surprise and not on the question of how long I have left on this earth. @@NikolJohnsonI’ve noticed that you don’t use a setting powder on the face I live on SS so you products are a big investment for me the powder that I’m talking about is out of stock but if it is something I need I will get it if I don’t need it I’d rather get some other products I plan to purchase the blush can’t find one that gives me just a little color can’t decide between the BB cream or foundation I might try the samples I think I’ll use the bronzer as eye shadow I like that look I want the lip,eyebrow and eyeliner and the eyebrow mascara plus other products my main question was about all over face setting powder Thanks for your help
