The Best, Kings Island in Ohio had a Wooden Rollercoaster the The Beast. It was so much fun I'm mad I never made it to Cedar Point. They had "The Gemini" twin racing coasters that was the ish back in the day😅😅😅

I believe there's still "The White Rollercoaster" at Lagoon amusement park in Farmingtion, UT. I thought it was fun to ride and loved hearing the "rickety sound" of it moving. It sounded like he could break at any moment and wasn't super fancy, but it really was/ is fun to many people

Matter of fact, my Son only took advantage of that opportunity two times in the 5months he worked there bc he was so tired when he got off work. Idk if ppl ride every night, but I doubt it. They all work at least 12hrs/day, sometimes 16hrs/day.

Gatekeeper is an underrated ride at Cedar Point. The smoothest coaster in the park and the line is never really long. It's always the coaster we do a couple times a day because it's right at the entrance.

When I was a kid, someone once told me to scream as you go down, and it helps with that feeling in your stomach. You still feel it, but it's not as intense. I just told my niece about it last summer, and she did it, and was so impressed how it worked. Try that next time you ride.

B&M is a Swiss company, they hold themselves to a higher standard than US companies. Hence why there's never been an incident on a B&M coaster. The major parks these days are also more reluctant for cost cutting with safety anyways, there's too much to lose between lawsuits, massive attendance hits, forced ride closure, and expensive modifications.

@@iliketrains3546 It makes a difference on the speed of the ride though. Also ""Swarm is very similar same drop" is referring to the height/drop. Gatekeeper is 1/3 as tall again as Swarm is, so not insignificant.

I've ridden GateKeeper and X2 and in my opinion Gatekeeper is way, way above X2. X2 was painful. Got knocked around so much. Gatekeeper is so smooth you just enjoy the awesome ride!

Idea: if you like this try Wild Eagle at Dollywood Theme Park it is the same winged Coaster with about 4-5 loops and a 200 ft drop after a 200 ft rise I’ve never tried it but I’ve been to Dollywood and I will definitely be riding it next time most likely!

It’s a 200 foot chainlift but since it’s on a mountaintop the actual drop is only 135 feet. Also there is only one loop, the others are rolls and immelmanns

Don’t worry coasters are completely safe. The odds of an accident happening are so crazy that you are more likely to die while driving to the theme park. You are more likely to die in a car.

B&M (the manufacturers of this coaster) is a Swiss company. I can guarantee you their standards for safety are a LOT more stringent. Also, they are absolutely *not* paid $10 per hour.

​@@squillz8310😂 I've gone through interviews at a company that builds coasters all over the US. I won't list their name as it's not my problem. But when salary came up, I laughed so hard and walked out the building. I don't care if it's a Swiss or US company, the builders are the bottom of the company. When engineers are starting less than $70k that's pretty pathetic considering i make 6 figs delivering milk.
