My strange experiences finding a church 🌚

I talk about how I found my church, and some of things I witnessed in churches when I was looking for one.
Always pray for God to for discernment and when you looking for a church. It’s very important who we look to as leaders

Finaaaallllyyyy love itttttttt . Omo😳 come to think of it, I have never met anyone that can interpret tongues🤣🤣😂. Also a side note to everyone, no church is perfect because a church is not a building. church is made out of believers and believers are not perfect however, do not be deceived and have a spirit of discernment. Additionally know the Bible for yourself and if you have questions then study it and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you, so don't expect your pastor, dad or mom to know the Bible for you, take responsibility for your own salvation!

Hi my dear, thank you for your post. You do know someone who used to speak in tongues as well as interpret her tongue when it was for the corporate body, Aunt Carol. I speak in tongues I interpret and I prophecy because those are the gifts I function in. Tongues are for everyone, everyone in the upper room spoke in tongues in Acts ch 2, people thought they were drunk. There are different gifts which is endowed on different people as the spirit wills. And Paul says you should desire every gift. Sometimes we don't understand certain things as was mentioned by one of the ladies, we should ask the Holy spirit and He would clarify and lead us into all truth. Thank you for your boldness and your teaching ability the Lord has bestowed on you. We all learn and grow as we start functioning in our gifting. All gifting are from the Holy spirit and comes without repentance so we can't take credit for it😊. It is our responsibility to develop character which happens as we spend time with Abba. You are a blessing in the kingdom and continue to teach. Love your spirit.❤

Thank you so much for the comment and encouragement aunty Merrel 🙏🏽❤️. I never knew aunt Carol could interpret thank you for sharing 🥹. I agree with it’s good to desire every gift of the Spirit but 1 Corinthians 12:11 says regarding the gifts that the Holy Spirit “gives to each one individually as He wills”. And 1 Corinthians 12:30 “Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? But earnestly desire the higher gifts. And I will show you a still more excellent way.” My understanding on this this verse is that not everyone has every gift of the Spirit the same way not everyone is in every office of ministry. Before I could speak in tongues I was told “I’m not a powerful christian because I didn’t speak in tongues” and many other christians have had this same experience in the church because of this false teaching 😢. I believe in tongues and interpretation 🤗, I just think it’s been misused in church and goes against how the bible teaches us it should be used 💔
