My Struggle with Mental Health

This was really hard for me to do, but I've done a lot of healing this year so I feel more comfortable to openly discuss this part of my life. For World Mental Health Day, I've made this video to talk about my life's struggle with bipolar II disorder. This video discusses what bipolar II disorder is, what my hypomania was like, dealing with suicide attempts and self harm, and the difficulty I had in finding help. My goal with this video is to help reduce the stigmas surrounding mental health. This video was made especially for the people who know me, and had no idea about my disorder.
As a volunteer for Take This, I was inspired to make this video in solidarity with their mission in reducing the stigmas for mental health. Please check out their website for personal resources and to learn more about their awesome cause.
