Hey, I have autism as well. I relate to so much of what you say (the social stuff at least). We aren't weirdos, we're just different. You have found good solutions for your problems, and I can learn from that. I was bullied in school as well, constantly, but at a much lower degree than you. You have had the worst treatment at your schools (maybe it's an American thing?). Something I am fortunate enough not to have had to endure. It makes me feel grateful for what I have and the ones around me who stuck with me. I am currently about to go to college, but I have a few friends even from grade school who I hang around with regularly. Keep on making you creative work, it's awesome!

I got diagnosed at 25 and it's become more obvious to me why life as an autistic person is almost unbearable.... I like to talk about details, others wanna talk about "the big picture"... Others want a short and sweet respond from you but to me it feels fake and forced. Like I'm suffocating. The messed up sleep schedule. Phobias, overthinking everything. I hate not knowing things. I hate abstract concepts. I hate thinking about death for example because no one can give a solid answer. A person who believes in Islam says one thing and an atheist says something different for example. And so many theories about what happens during death and where we go... I find the uncertainty horrifying. This coronavirus BS... It makes everyone uncomfortable but for an autist it's even more anxiety inducing... All the what ifs, delays, confusion.

Basic concepts. I have only started in my 30's to realize how to do some tricks with it, but if it's past basic math, I can't do it.

Sometimes I do, but I have also been taught how to handle it a bit better.
