Mataya Veverka I’m not Emma, nor am I a pro runner, but I can definitely recommend you what I do. You really need to be consistent. That’s the key. Run everyday besides maybe one day off (choose a day when you’re sore.) just really get those miles in and get a great base and you will be forever grateful during the season. It also helps with your races because if you’re averaging a lot of miles then 3.1 miles will feel like nothing. Stay consistent, try to get a workout or two every week, and either one or two long runs depending on the level of training you have. You’ve got it!!

This is a nice apartment. This is also like the biggest studio apartment I've ever seen. That is a beautiful kitchen and bathroom. You must be paying $2,000 a month for the rent.

Get a warm or soft white bulb from home depot. Definitely way better than the daylight bulbs. Reminds me of a hospital.

Yeah look for 35K or 30K lamps, so much softer. May not help her shadow problem as much (that has more to do with the lumens/fixture placement) but it'll improve nonetheless.

Change the bulb from cool white to warm yellow. Almost all bulb shapes come in LED. Check Amazon or Walmart. You could even do a Google search and see your many choices. Also, (when Ikea reopens) you could buy the single bulb-and-cord fixture. Pair it with a remote plug-in light switch (Home Depot). Hang it from a ceiling hook, and you instantly have multiple light sources in the kitchen. And again, use 'warm' bulbs for all -- easier on the eyes and better looking.

This might just be me, but I really like to be near natural light when I'm doing work, so maybe move your desk area in front of one of the windows by the end of your bed? Might help draw you to your desk a little more if it's in a more well-lit spot!! Love the apartment

I love your apartment🤩 for the kitchen when you said you don’t love the lighting, maybe you could try strip lights under the cabinets or something like that to try and make it a little lighter!

The fork on your green bike is backwards. you may know that and did it to make it shorter for storage, but if not, it will cause the bike to ride weird. You just need to loosen the stem bolt going down into the fork and turn the handlebar/stem left 180 degrees, tighten the bolt back up, and it will be fixed.

First off Emma, that Cervelo bike is GORGEOUS. You own a fine piece of equipment that should be kept in the living room, not laundry room lol. Next, I expected like an entire room dedicated to running shoes, Prefontaine posters on the walls, "Play like the champion" signs....nothing of the sort! Kinda taken by surprise by that.
