My suggestion to you would be a dresser. A big ass dresser with hella high quality railings because of the weight and drawers with soft close. When storing cards, sleeves, toploaders and so on, for me at least, there's no better experience than opening a high-quality drawer at stomach height and having 8000 cards displayed in front of me easy to access, easy to put back in, elevates the collecting experience tenfolds if you ask me :D (Personally I also suggest creating deviders yourself to fit the drawers perfectly with a couple of big PVC sheets, 3mm thick or so. Not really but kinda easy to cut and rigid enough). The binders go on the bookshelf though :P
