Just something I do on my golf, when mixing coolant , use deironised water. Normal water causes the brownish because tap water has iron and reacts with iron block. My bottle is clear for over a year, no issues

Its the cams. Due to the long lift of the cams, the lifters doesn't get enough oil pressure to minimize the gap between the lifters and the valves. I had the same issue i had with my superboss. So i reverted back to the original 276.

Use a thicker oil. 20w50. That will help with the pressure for the lifters.

It isnt the Cam I'm running the same head with a stock cam. I have the same problem with my lifters making a rattling noise

@xaviergroenewaldt8252 saving the headache of changing the Cam for no reason I'm still trouble shooting the problem myself, I've changed cam caps, put in a ellie coil etc etc but it's not a regular occurrence for me the tapping noise goes away after a bit of driving but starts up again the next day. Best guess is the engineers screwed up the head when they machined it

Just a suggestion, remove those crystal outer and inner headlamps and replace them with original Hella ones and also remove those front markers and put the original amber ones

Agree with the hella oem lights but not the amber lenses. Maybe semi-clear oem lenses. The amber dont compliment the smoked citi-life rear lenses.

Are you using 100% coolant or do you mix it with water? What I usually prefer on these cars is to mix it with stillwater. Never use tap water unless that water is purified.

You are 100% correct. This antifreeze I mixed with still water. If you were to use tap water, it would be a waste of money in my eyes.
