Im a Mehanic in real life and this game is funny as it gets especialy that guy works in silence like that (meaning no mic,but I can imagine the frustration behind it :'D)and I remember how I swear in myself when I'm working on the car and forget some little pieces to tighten up or something like that... Need to buy this game 5/5 star rating! It can get a little bit better but still for begginer car enthusiasts the parts are simplified as I see so yea get it and play it! :D

Had the same problem with fan belt after the patch. Solution: adjust the belt while the engine is running, it's easier that way, because you can see the belt jiggle around when it's too tight, and you can hear+see it jiggle when it's too loose. The optimal is +1 tightening "tick" from the place where it starts to squeak.

Why do you crank the van immediately? It's a diesel. There are three red lights. The big one goes out when you set the ignition to 1. Wait for it to go out, and then it should fire straight up.

For anyone who might still watch this video--the way I have found to adjust the alternator is to go ahead and tighten it all the way against the fan belt, then back off by two clicks (of your scroll wheel). Works every time for me.

well if you have to base it on real life 🤷 you first unloosen the locking nut/screw the remove the slack on the alternator in order to remove and install a new belt then the way to know if it's too tight or too loose is if it squeeks the belt is loose (or some idler pulley/ bearings are buggered or the alignment is all wrong that's causing the squeeking) so in order to remove the squeek is you will have to tension it while the engine is running once the squeeking is gone you now know the belt is in proper tension then go ahead and tighten the lock nut the other way to tension the belt is to measure the play or looseness of the belt while the engine is turned off 🤔it's usually around 1 inch

Whenever I tune my enginge i tune it to 14.2 but when I start the car its back to 12 but goes back up to 14 the more I drive. But if I drive a little bit longer it goes on to 16 and is running too lean. Please help.

I had the same problem...it slips back into neutral all the time, you forgot to tighten the bolts going from the shifter to the transmission on the gear shifter linkage thing...i forget the name of it but they sit right below the engine...dont jack up the side of the car, just push q and clip into the car body infront of the driver side door, you will see them light up if you have the right wrench selected. Try them all.
