I was hoping for a shorter room tour video, but that is obviously not what happened here. Hopefully I have answered any questions. If you have a question feel free to drop it into the comment section. The only place I did not cover and show was the closet simply because it has minimal amount of clothes in it and it is mainly empty boxes in there, the lighting also sucks...

I'm so used to seeing minimalist rooms, but I can never relate to the appeal, your room reminded me of my own (not to such an amazing collection extent yet:) I can see all the love and time you put into it and it 's so fun! Literally was relating to so many of your hobbies; anime, kpop, and especially bc i collect dolls and BJD (smth few people i know do similarly) so just seeing this all made me feel so happy and comfy

Oh my gosh, I totally agree! I hate minimalism & minimalist rooms. It just feels depressing to me. I need colors & collections! I actually love the kind of cluttered look, like organized disorganization lol. It's what I'm used to & grew up with. I have a collector heart, so my heart is full & happy seeing your full collections!

@@SunhiMoon While it is completely okay to have preferences it is a bit strange to deem minimalism…as depressing. Most would actually claim the opposite- a cluttered room is usually how a depressed person’s room looks like (it DOES NOT mean that every cluttered room is due to depression but most people with depression most definitely do not have minimalist rooms). As for minimalism being depressive, that is also very far-fetched…minimalism is ultimate organization and a lack of materialism and while I am absolutely a collector as well, I can very much appreciate and respect a minimalist approach. Those rooms look clean, fresh, beautiful. Cluttered rooms are fun to look through but at the end of the day, they do look messy and bordering on looking like hoarding areas. Anyways, my point is simply to say that minimalism doesn’t need to be devalued or bashed simply because we are collectors. Most minimalists I know spend their money on travel and experiences as opposed to materialistic items and knick-knacks and that’s okay, right? ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻just offering you a different perspective to consider.

Right now I just don't have the time to work on a project like that and finish the rearranging I was doing in my room.

That's actually a really nice room but as a person with severe dust/dust mite allergy this will probably end me. I can't imagine how long it would take to clean everything so unfortunately for me, I can't ever have a room that like yours. I love your fate figures btw! especially Mordred 😁 looks really cool! wish I had that one.

When I get around to dusting and moving things around it bothers my allergies a lot. I know getting rid of plush and similar things would help with that, but I don't want to part with them.😅 Your talking about the casual Mordered scale figure right? That one is my all time favorite Mordered figure. Hopefully you can the Mordered you want in the future!

Well to be truthful it's really hard to say how long, cause it's something I've been doing ever since I was little. I'd say at least 10 years of actively collecting at least.

I honestly have no idea what my figure collection costs at the base retail value. The collection has also grown quite a bit since the video was filmed too. I think it's at least $5,000 I'm not exactly sure how the collection has cost me. I try not to keep track of that...😅I probably will have an analysis someday as I've been slowly inputting my collection into spreadsheets for record keeping.

That's perfectly normal. If you're worried about it you can get mounts for extra stability that screw into the wall. Not something you have to get though. I just suggest doing routine checks for screws as over time they get loose and you need to re-screw them into the posts.

I don't have an exact place I get all of my plushies. A lot of this is just several years of slow collecting. Overall I would say my plushie collection has come from conventions, but I have also ordered from AmiAmi, Hobbylink Japan, Hobbysearch Japan, and Black Knight Anime. Those are the main ones, excluding any exclusives that came from else where.

@@sakurakxt Gotcha, that is totally fair. If you don't already I would highly suggest looking at Japanese sellers like AmiAmi that have a used section. As long as you don't want the newest hottest figures you can get a lot of great deals on there and similar sites. That's how I've gotten some of my older scale figures that are hard to come by.

I see a LOT of miku in your room so I was wondering, have you heard of the game Project Sekai (called colorful stage on the global ver.) it has miku and the rest of the cryptonloids! It’s a rhythm game and has 20 original characters and multiple original songs!

I got all of my dolls either from Volks themselves or off of the Japanese second hand market with shops that guarantee their authenticity.

Fellow weeb! Impressive collection! I'm jealous! I gave a thumbs up, but if I may offer a suggestion: it's clear the video is edited (cuts), but an hour is quite a commitment for a viewer. Since you had some success with editing, please edit some more. To your credit, you at least put timestamps and chapter titles to make it a bit easier to navigate. Just saw you're comment and wanted to give you some of the thought process for this tour. This video is an early one for me, so I had filmed it to include a more thorough share of the different areas in my room. This way I was able to answer any questions people had about what I owned in my collections; or how I arranged them. Future tours I was definitely not planning to be as long. I made this one this way just for reference, and for those who had questions. Since I was getting a lof of questions this helped answering all of them in one go. I do appreciate you're suggestion and will keep it in mind for future videos. If I sound like I'm coming off strongly, I sincerely don't mean to be like that. It's a bit hard to explain this on the internet for setting a tone. I appreciate the thumbs up, and your time!

How tf do you deal with dust and mold? Genuine question, unless you live somewhere where you don't need to worry about that?

I wish I did live somewhere that's not an issue. The mold isn't bad in my room, I used to have problems in a corner but after changing the layout of things the mold stopped growing there. I think the only place there is mold is my windows, which is mainly because they are old. The dust is something I am constantly fighting with, I can't really win with it. Shelves and areas I can easily reach do get dusted once a week or every other week. Otherwise, some of my upper shelves like the ones over my door don't get dusted that often. Carpets and cats don't really help with that dust issue...😅

The two big figures and mini ones to the right are from Hakuouki, which is also an otome visual novel (video game). The two petit Nendoroid on the left are from Token Ranbu which has two different animes with a new movie coming soon for it. It is also a game you can play on your computer or on your phone.

Are you referring to the area in front of my closet I said I was working through? Cause to be fair all of that stuff was in storage until I pulled it out to be gone through and wasn't done with it yet. Also, a true hoarder would not keep order as my room has. There would be stuff all over the floor and no sense of organization.

The figure's are all worth a lot more if they have their original boxes. Another thing is I plan on moving in the future and the best way to transport the figures is using their original boxes, especially the scale one's. There's also a lot of boxes I like the art that's on it.

@cantfindmywilltolive657 I honestly don't have a specific schedule! I clean it whenever I feel like it 💀 most of my figures are stacked on top of each other. So it does make moving one figure difficult but that's just a personal preference and not something many other people do.
