I love that you correlated your supernatural birth to Peter walking on the water!! I’m 39 weeks with my first and I found both those resources at 38 weeks and I am standing in faith because I’ve been experiencing supernatural birth since before I conceived! Tons of health issues and prayers before knowing I was pregnant and I believe that I will have a pain free supernatural birth as well. Thank you for your laughter! Thank you for sharing this. It was SO encouraging. I'm pregnant with my 3rd.. and my first two were supernatural births, but more of the supernatural no pain at the end. I had very similar emotions and thoughts as you did. It takes a lot of courage and humbleness to admit what had happened that stopped the supernatural birth. What a great way to reflect and grow through this experience!

This is amazing to hear, amd actually how birth is supposed to be. Its actually very natural! Many women expect pain and have a lot of fear going into labour which causes tension in the body and causes the pain. A truly calm and fear free momma will not experience any sort of intense pain.

I love this birth story, it gives me hope. I am 37 weeks with my 6th child. I am so afraid to go into labor. I can't imagine going through birth without pain! I have been reading and listening to all these stories, and I want to believe it. I believe that God can do anything and all things but my faith is so small! I don't know if I can believe he can do this for me. Or if he will want too. I am trying to lay this labor in His hands, and give up the fear I have been experiencing and rely completely on Him, and take whatever labor he has for me, I pray so much that after this labor is over it's been an experience with the Lord, that I feel His presence , that he rains his love on me, and that it brings me closer to him. So that instead of looking back on this birth in fear I look back on it as being the beautiful experience of bringing life into the world with the creator of all things by my side.

I am 40.5 weeks and need to watch this... I read supernatural birth with my first and I had such a horrible birth. I was so very disappointed. I didn't pick the book up with my second one. This is baby 3 and I started listening to the birthing into glory and its helping. I can't embrace the pain free labor truth...I'm so terrified. I am also planning on a homebirth. I just really want Jesus to show up for me. So so badly!!! I so wanna embrace it...

@@theabundantlife8541 He came... Jesus came!!! I had him at home in 5 hours. The midwife induced me with herbs due to the stresstest being scary the day before. I asked him to start slow to ease me in... then I told him I was ready for it to get more intense and it did. It wasn't pain free BUT it was fast (5 hours start to finish) AND i didn't have to push...he just came out in the pool! It was beautiful, redeeming and I was in awe of Gods goodness! Judah Rapha was 8 lbs 11 oz and 20 inches. Born july 30th 2019. "I WOULD HAVE LOST HEART UNLESS I HAD BELIEVED THAT I WOULD SEE THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING!" ♡

You're birth story sounded similar to mine. I had days and days of these contractions that did'nt hurt, but then I started to doubt, and they went away. Cutting the long story short I was induced and the labour was so so intense with the worst pain I've ever felt. But I birth a beautiful baby girl. For my next birth I want to depend on God, and trust in him throughout labour so I can have a pain free labour, which I think I would have had if I waited on Him.

Our city recently started a publicly funded home birth trial. That is the program that I birthed through where the midwives come from the local hospital. We live in the ACT, Australia.

What did you read to learn about conception, pregnancy, birth, and post partum? Jackie says in her book to educate yourself, and I’d love to educate myself, but not read information that’s based in fear and the curse.

Hello! I think I learnt the most from going to a birthing class. In Australia I went to a CalmBirth class. It had a new age vibe, but I got a lot out of it. I’ve heard that Bradley classes are very good and are Christian based. There are also some online Christian birth classes that are helpful. I think I took one called Kingdom birthing?
