Thanks for sharing. Yes, Swatches are probably the loudest watches of Switzerland and the acrylic glass is such a nightmare that most jewellery stores used to sell, at least here in Switzerland, a special polish to remove the scratches. I wonder if they still do.

Hi Tim, nice collection...i spoke to you in town , i was in the line for a moon swatch, i regret not showing you what i had on the wrist at the time, and alot of people loved it...i was wearing my 1985 Stainless steel Irony Chronograph, black dial, white small dials, gold hands, fully lumed... my reliable treasure, works a charm , i also have boxed a 2012 Olympic Games-maker watch, yes i was one of them, best time of my life !, the watch brings back memories of a good time at the Olympic Games, i was a driver so got to drive a range of BMW's and also rode the BMW electric bike. Good news...i did get the watch i wanted....Mission to the Moon, since swapped the strap for a NATO...grey/black striped.

They're still the coolest watches ever made. I've got an '84 GM100 on the way as we speak. The Memphis design on it is just incredible. Just need to find me a vintage rubber face protector and it'll be perfect.

I still have my Haley's Comet Swatch Watch from circa 1986. Green straps and red clasp and band. It's looking brittle now. Cheers.

one of mine from the mid 80's became brittle.. the strap just breaks apart. the back of the case cracked in a few places when I removed the battery cover.
