I've been waiting for this since the interview. Please do a comparison between Thursday boots vs Taft. Kory's story definitely gained me as a customer for life. Mad respect to someone that gets it out the mud. When he said "if i didn't sell socks I couldn't feed my family," that hit me.

I completely agree with the Rome boot, got me the black pair and it's very comfortable. I'm surprised you don't have their Jack boot, I thought it's the boot their known for.

- nice boot collection, George! i like 4, 5, 6 & 8! - i am always sitting on the fence about the hiking boot. i certainly do not like the toecap of these boots. from certain angles, they look not bad. and then from some angles, i just do not like them. having said that, i think the black pair looks better than the brown ones because of the lack of contrast between the leather and the laces. the gold hardware is looking good for the most part. and i am not a fan of the crocodile-style leather / details on the leather (3rd hiking boots) in general.

They are true to size. I wear an 11 in everything from taft except the vikings. Size up on those.

I “like” Taft, but man nothing they sell is versatile. Even their Chelsea and Jodhpurs have lacking silhouettes compared to others in their price range. I like their creativity but it’s gonna be a no from me. And prices definitely aren’t helping them.

Too bad The Branson Boots have the zipper! I’ve seen other Button Boots without the zipper and way classier! You can buy a special hook for ease with the buttons.

Nice boot choices. The only problem I noticed was that you look extremely over trendy in some of those shots, with the overdone beard and shaved sides hairdo, as well as the outrageously over tapered trousers. It just makes you look overdone, over trendy, that you're trying to be cool and in a process makes you look disingenuine. Style is distinctive and great, but trendy just makes one a silly sheep.

@@gentslounge the problem is it's still not your style it's a copied style. That whole look is a cookie cutter look. Style should be personal. Whenever I see that look I'm almost uncomfortable for the wearer. Trendy is a lame attempt to fit in I didn't feel accepted and that's what it comes down to. Then if you wear it for 10 years then you're simply outdated
