Thank you that was very helpful! I currently enrolled I college bachelors and masters program will be done in about 4 years. I’m a preschool teacher now looking to get into public school quickly without waiting for my masters degree to be complete. Can I get your advice please on what I should do? I have two kids 25 and want to get settled in a career in teaching in public school. The goal is to teach kindergarten and have a background in special education as well.

They take out $400 out your check for 10 months. Im getting certified to become a sped teacher

TFA might not be for me cos I have kids and I cannot leave without a check coming in for a month. I already have my master's degree. This is time-consuming. Teaching 5 weeks without a check? Plus I need to pass a test, then for an interview? This is not for me. Thanks for the tips.

Its different now you get an automatic 5k for institute, 10k if you got a pell grant and its 3 weeks online and 2 in-person now.
