I grew up watching a number of my teachers do borderline questionable things. Like making buddies with the 'popular' kids and throwing anyone else under the metaphorical schoolbus. I'm just glad I'm done with school.

I've been bullied most of my life in school. I have autism, my brain doesn't work the same as others. I switched to online school, things are a lot better now. Church too for me sadly. I was always forced to go, where I was bullied. Now I won't step foot in a church because of those experiences. If you want your children to have a religion, don't force em to go to church.

I can relate. I have been bullied my whole life, not just in school but also at home and in church (of all places). It affected my mental health growing up and I am still traumatized. Even as an adult I still get bullied here and there.

Had a PE teacher in middle school that was a jerk to me. Calling me slow poke or screaming at me and embarrassing me in front of everyone because I didn’t want to try (not a big fan of sports and such). But one time we just finished a mile run, and we were all walking back to group up so the teachers could could talk to us as a group. Me and a friend (who was a girl) walked back and chatted. As soon as we were in sight, the teacher yelled loudly enough for the whole class to hear “Hey *insert name here*, quit flirting with a girl out of your league and hurry up.” I still remember the embarrassment that made me feel. That girl who I made friends with totally misunderstood and slowly she seemed to want to not talk. I just wanted a friend in PE and he ruined it for me.

When I was in junior high, I watched my teacher pick up one of the students (almost every day) and put the student in the trash can. Everyone in the class laughed but me. I was so upset for this kid. I promised myself that I would never let this happen to my kids, so now that I'm an adult, I stay home with (and I homeschool) all 9 of my kids. Fun fact: I went to high school with the daughter of the founders of Cold Stone Creamery. Savannah.

Oh man! I remember in 4th grade in 2018, one of my teachers Mrs. Glover would freaking bully the heck outta me. Threatening to call my mom for having issues on turning in my work on time, when collaborating with my math teacher she’d always pick the heck on me the most out of everyone else because i was falling behind on her class which would always leave me distressed, and for whatever stupid ridiculous reason and excuse she’d begin picking on me for.. other times she would hold me back and ruin my character image! Every time it would be time to come into her class (she’s my 3rd class i come into for the day and then 4th period, we’d rotate back to my 1st period home room), I’d be nervous as hell because she is so hard on me and once she starts picking on one student, she continues the legacy on doing that until she finds a new student to pick on. Another thing, i was 10 at that time and i was sensitive! (Which is common in childhood) So yeah, same thing that happened to me! I’m 15 now and I’ll be 16 this year. It was stressful dealing with her. She really hurt me a lot!

I was at like an afterschool camp kinda thing, and the counselors and other kids bullied me all the time, one specific time I remember was a (camp name) Olympics, and there was this mummy race kinda relay thing, one perosn is the mummy and everyone runs with toilet paper and rolls up one part of the mummy’s body, a girl I’ll name Rosie was gonna be the mummy. So everyone else was arguing of what place everyone would be in to run up to her and roll her arm or something. Some kids said “no slowest kids last” “no slowest kids first” and the “slowest kid” was me, then the counselor said “don’t have (my irl name) be a runner, make her the mummy, cuz she’s the slowest and will slow all you guys down” the other counselor was laughing like “(his name) you can’t say thattttthahaaahah) but she didn’t stop him, she kept laughing. Then it was time for the race and after about 20 jokes about my weight, they put me in 2nd, and I ran so FCKING FAST and beat all the boys but what did they say? oh no, ha no nothing nice I got a cupcake thrown at me told me “stick to the sweets hon” and walked away. I was fcking 9 years old. The worst part was I didn’t realize I was bullied until 2 years later. I just thought there was something wrong with me.

Bullied throughout my first childhood, i didnt know what was wrong with me until i was older that i had gone through anxiety and mild depression before the bullying. Worse i was even threathen to be punch by my homeroom teacher and even encourage the kids to make fun of me for no reason. Mind you i was also made fun of bcs of my speech, english was my first language as a kid instead of my mother language and growing up i dont understand some words that were said to me which led to the bullying and teachers getting mad at me for not doing my work. Its been a long time and i can do nothing abt it other than forgive them but i just hope they are human enough to actually feel sorry abt it

i couldn’t pronounce my teacher’s name and i didn’t want to be disrespectful to her so i just called her “teacher” (i was new to the school and that’s what we did at my old school so i thought it was fine) one time she got mad and said “from now on im just gonna call you student cause you always call me teacher. yes, student?” i didn’t say anything for a few seconds then continued w my question. but that incident scared me into calling her by her name, thankfully i figured out how to pronounce it right the first time i tried one year later, im in the next grade and i ended up chilling with her (don’t remember how) and i mentioned that i did the whole “teacher” thing cause i didn’t know how to pronounce her name and didn’t wanna offend her. all she said “well now you know how to pronounce it” i had her for third grade.

Unfortunately I was bullied by my English teacher my senior year starting the first day of school which sucks because it was my only class I went to the first day. But it was a special needs English class and on the first day she went alphabetical by last name having us stand up in front of the class and present our self and answer her questions. I unfortunately have a last name that starts with “a” so I was one of the first to go and she asked me some things like what I wanted to do after high school which I told her I wanted to be a teacher but the whole time I was presenting I was stuttering and having a hard time because of anxiety and it being a brand new class. She then laughed at me and said you be a teacher you can’t even talk. It completely broke my spirit and I gave up on my dream.
