It's a lovely sentiment but honestly, I've just kinda accepted that I likely won't wind up with another big wave of attention with this channel. It's massively suffering from what I call "old channel syndrome" - A lot of the folks who subscribed way back when have grown up and moved on in their lives. The rate in which I gain subs is sadly outstripped by the amount of folks unsubbing as a result. It's just something I've had to learn to live with really! Who knows though I guess! 😅

LET'S GO! 1.4.4 Melee playthrough. I would recommend mainly the jungle weapons for the start of the game (poison was heavily buffed in 1.4.4). And for Hardmode PLEASE save either a Bloody Tear or a Goblin Battle Standard since the Shadowflame Knife and the Bananarang are easily the best Early-Hardmode melee weapons.

Course it isn't. I just wanted to get this thing started to inject some hype into the channel again 😃 Seems, as much as I personally enjoy the Forgotten Playthrough, the wider KZbin sphere HAS "forgotten" about it, which is sad. It's disheartening really, the playthroughs I genuinely enjoy not really getting the hype but then something else I might not necessarily enjoy as much doing far better 🤣

For late game boss fights such as the cultist, golem, Empress of light, and Moon Lord, I suggest you use the terra blade, possessed hatchet, paladins hammer, solar eruption, and the daybreak

In Hardmode, if you fish in the Crimson, similar to the obtainment method for the Crystal Serpent, you’ll get a really cool sword!

HEYO, python, you should get a phase blade either way, so that when you reach hard mode you can make yourself a phasesaber out of crystal shards and the aforementioned phaseblade. You don’t have to but it is just a suggestion. Btw I am a HUGE fan of your content.

If this is referring to the amount of class playthroughs I've done for 1.4, in terms of Master Mode ones, this one is only the 2nd believe it or not! Mage was Master, this is Master, the Summoner one was only Expert Mode so pretty soon, we'll see a Master Mode version of the Summoner playthrough! 😃

In my opinion. Please avoid the Enchanted Sword this series for the most part. This series should be about using some fun melee loadouts. So using the Starfury and Tri-marang could be a fun start?

Nah, any and every melee weapon is fair game in this series. If you didn't want the enchanted sword, the Forgotten Playthrough is more for you as that was the whole point of it, to not always use the same stuff over and over, haha 😅

@@PythonGB I understand this is a "Everythings fair game" series but I still would love to see you use some slightly different melee loadouts. Maybe the Melee Old one's army armour could be fun? Up to you though. There's no pressure here and I'll always watch whatever is uploaded, but the enchanted sword is used by everyone and in my eyes, is a bit overpowered. But obviously, it's your series, you're the content creator, do whatever the hell you want!

What's the actual point? The game itself now has an in-built death counter and you can do the /deaths command if you really wanna know that sorta stuff. Initially, my manually edited-in death counter was for the sake of comedy but now, I just don't care, I just wanna play the game for fun...
