Thank you so much for sharing! I was released from my job in Feb 2021 and I have had so much peace and God has definitely been providing for me ! I have applied almost 300 jobs this year an have been on several interviews and also praying for specific work as well according to my heart's desires/purpose. This blessed me ! I'm not alone

Thank you so much for sharing! This is such an on time encouragement! You know I’m in a similar situation, but in the reverse (FL -> CHI) - btw I think you live up the street from my house lol but I’ll text you about that. Anyhoo, you know I made the decision to walk away from a tumultuous work environment in Feb of this year and I’m now on my 7th month of unemployment. By God’s grace I’ve been able to stay afloat with freelance assignments but it’s truly been daily manna. Like you, I’ve been selective in my job search because of my career aspirations and I’ve had some opportunities I just knew I landed that fell through. But God has been faithful through it all! One thing He’s been teaching me during this season is to expand my expectations. Like you I was reluctant to negotiate salaries but to my surprise I recently was told by a recruiter I’m seriously devaluing what I bring to the table. My floor had been set by a former employer who was actually grossly underpaying me for the range of responsibilities involved in my role. Because that was all I ever made I assumed that was the price but with that discussion I created a new bottom line asking salary and every job interview I’ve received since that conversation has offered me that floor or more. I’m yet believing for my FT opportunity but I know when God releases the blessing it will be exceedingly, abundantly, more than I can ask or think. Which is why I think it’s no coincidence that the Lord has also been using this season to help me establish and maintain a budget and better money habits. So glad everything worked out and the Lord developed you along the way! South FL looks good on you 😎 Miss you already!! Let us know next time you’re in the Chi ✨💕
