I'm a guy but I was utterly addicted to porn from a super early age and The Lord completely delivered me from it. It started early and continued into my marriage and it completely hurt my marriage. I hurt my wife so many times. I too have lost alot of people and had severe depression and anxiety and suicidal thoughts and drug addictions. I was a horrible father. Blessed be the name of the Lord for dieing for our sins and being faithful and merciful to us. Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords. He saved me and my me a new creation.

@@dmlx4209 First of all, know that you are not alone in this. I can only try to help based on my experiences. Hopefully, you might gain some insights and be able to find what works for you. The most important thing for me has been understanding the problem and recognizing that Jesus is the answer. Due to the fall of our first parents, we have a tendency toward sin. The closer we are drawn toward God, the more we will be tempted. Satan tries harder, God refines us toward holiness for our greater good and we become more aware of our weaknesses. The fact that it bothers you tells me that you are in the fight. Satan, as a creature, really has no control over us, other than what we give him. I suspect that he is sowing despair because you feel like you are falling short of your expectations. St. Paul, one of the greatest Apostles, felt the same way when Satan was a thorn in his side (2 Corinthians 12:7-10). Jesus said, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Rely on Jesus and recall how He handled Satan when being tempted in the desert after His baptism. Also, consider what Jesus did when agonizing over His impending passion and death at Gethsemane. He acknowledged the weakness of the flesh and the strength of the Spirit, and He prayed. Jesus should be your best friend. Bring everything to Him in prayer and contemplation. When I do this, He usually gives me the answer that day or the next. It probably won't come in an audible voice, but as an inner voice, Scripture reading, homily or maybe someone or something you encounter during the day. It is like a moment of undeniable clarity. Bringing these things to Jesus when not actively being tempted will help you to recognize Satan's antics and make you less susceptible. As a Catholic, I have the benefit of the Sacrament of Reconciliation (confession). During reconciliation God is working through the priest in persona Christi (in the person of Christ) to forgive our sins. Through the unbroken, Apostolic succession of Bishops, the priest (from the bishop) is given the charism to bind and loose (Matthew 18:18). Having the priest there allows for some discussion and help, he can determine if we are sincere in our repentance and give us a penance (maybe the Lord's prayer, an act of charity, prayer, Scripture or something else to help heal the consequences of our sin). God forgives us, but as human's we benefit from the human interaction. Anyway, I made it a point to do reconciliation face-to-face because I was tired of confessing the same things. Being face-to-face greatly humbled and embarrassed me, giving me some accountability. I did not want to offend God by sinning and I did not want to say I failed again. It makes me think twice. The priests are very kind, understanding and helpful, so the embarrassment was mine. Whatever works. It takes time to gain discipline, maybe months or even years. If you keep doing the right things, you will fall less often and at some point not at all. When you fall, do not despair or dwell on it. Immediately repent and ask for the grace to overcome your weakness. Keep in mind that Satan will not rest. He will try to tempt you in other ways. I noticed that sexual lust and gluttony were still lust. When I was successful with one, he would attack the other. Right now, with God's grace, I am successful with both, but Satan is trying to tempt me sexually. The Rosary is my weapon because it gives me discipline in prayer. It is scriptural and each mystery is a meditation on Jesus Christ (even the meditations on Mary are Christ-centered and the beads just aid in counting). Meditate on Jesus' suffering and lust will be the last thing on your mind. Figure out what works for you and stick to it. When we take our focus off of the Cross, we focus on ourselves and our minds wander. Sorry that this is long winded. There is still a lot more to my journey. Hopefully, you will find something helpful. Do your best and trust Jesus with the rest. Read the genealogy in Matthew 1 and consider that King David was an adulterer and murderer, Rahab was a prostitute and so on. Jesus also chose Judas as an Apostle. Jesus is perfection, not us. May God bless you with His grace and peace. I will be praying for you.

@@dmlx4209 I forgot to mention using OpenDNS (www.opendns.com/), which enables you to filter out Internet content that you don’t want to see. It is free and easy to configure. Normally your DNS (domain name system) is set to your Internet provider's DNS, but they don't filter out the garbage. I have my OpenDNS account set to block anything porn, sexual, violent, having explicit language, etc. It also blocks a lot of spam and viruses because these type sites are high risk. If a valid site is blocked, you are notified and can manually whitelist it. I thought of another thing...make sure other areas of your life also are cleaned up. If you are cursing, partying, etc., it opens you up to attack where you are weakest. With God's grace, it has taken me 10+ years to chip away at my many vices. Be patient and tackle them one at a time. I was surprised at how much stopping cursing helped. I kept thinking how wrong it was to curse with the same mouth that praises God. After a while, not doing it becomes normal. Giving up cursing, drinking, etc. actually improved my life because they are a crutch for underlying weaknesses. Blessings to you and your family!

Jesus. It’s not that hard. Belief is what makes it hard. If you believe it is hard to control your own mind, then it is hard for you. But if you believe in yourself and tell yourself, “controlling my mind is something I learned as a toddler, easiest task of my life.” And guess what, now that you believe in yourself that you can control your mind, you can go cold turkey on anything.

You're definitely not alone. I'm a 32 year old guy who's dated, but never really been able to have a relationship with any of the girls I've gone out with. When I saw all these people I know finding their spouses, it made me wonder what's wrong with me. There's been times where I wanted to say "enough" and end it all. The problem with that, though, is that you'll never get the life you want if you quit it. Change can happen at any point in your life and the only way to find out is to live it.

No offense at all. But it's hard for us to focus on what matters. So having the life you want isn't necessarily what God had in store for you. Maybe he really wanted to teach you a lesson. Maybe he wanted to challenge what you thought you new and come to a greater understanding. Perhaps you were meant to be a lone. Or have a greater purpose In the coming battle. Either way, stay trucking brother, never end it because it's not about the reward in heaven. It's about the journey here on planet earth. And it's about helping those along side you.

@@kylemccloud9197 Believing in god is part of the human experience. we are very aware and it’s scary to think about what it will be like when we’re not here. So many of us choose to believe in a being so that we feel less alone. But the truth is that you can just live and die a human life on earth like the other animals on earth who do the same, and have been for billions of years. We are just colonies of cells and microbes that grouped together to survive: a multicellular organism. I just don’t see room for god. I believe consciousness is the result of the human brain and the human 5 senses combine. before the brain is developed fully, we cannot sense the world. Which is why you don’t remember anything before like the age of 1 or 2. No brain to remember anything. When we die, all of our memories, everything we have ever known, mentally and physically, will cease to exist. Nothingness. Like before birth. When there was no brain. Don’t be scared. Embrace it. We are prisoners to circumstance. No room for god.

Guilt and shame are two perfectly normal modes of being within us, I think to view these things as the enemy or the devil is almost like viewing yourself as the enemy. You see, these emotions and impulses that are regarded as “evil” by many are actually normal in the biological sense and have there utility if analyzed rather then demonized, You should not view your negative emotions or impulses as separate from your psyche, but instead choose to understand them and accept that they’re innate to you. Only then can you find a sense of inner peace with yourself. This is of course not to say that you should act on every impulse or negative emotion but like I said rather understand them and there true meaning in relation to yourself and reality. Anyways hope anyone who reads this is helped by it in some way, also keep in mind this is all just my opinion.

I'll pray (I mean that literally) the Holy Spirit speaks to you in ways that you understand. As a Christian brother I send you a hug of encouragement. Allow me to suggest spending time reading the entire book of Psalms. You'll see how David had to deal with anger, self loathing and emotional torment. Once again that took guts to make this video.

Hi! Thank you for sharing your testimony! It was truly powerful! I struggled with pornography from age 10-21, and it is a terrible addiction to have. I also grew up in the church and had a lot of shame for what I was doing but I never truly had a relationship with Christ. I came to a point in my life where porn wasn’t enough and I was about to step out into the world and try to find that love from guys (friends with benefits/causal sex) but the Lord got ahold of me before that happened. I fully accepted the Lord in Feb. 2021 and God has just done a work in my life! He has set me free from that addiction! I know it’s hard sharing such a vulnerable side of yourself but there’s so much power in your testimony. The random stuff that pops up on social media when you actually need to hear it is wild. A blessing frankly. Outstanding testimony and thanks for being so brave. I’m 39 and this confession has tremendous meaning. I’ve struggled through my life with the same addictions and am finally on the right road but I do fall on my face hard. It took me losing the love from someone I adored, who was sacred, and to witness them go on to have a family and children which is all I wanted, without them atoning for what they did to me, has left me in the same exact place as you for 4 years. Some of those scares will never heal, but must be worn. I was raised right, am devout, but chose to stray and when I had what I wanted most ripped away there is an amount of shame from my past that keeps blame with me. “What are you making Jesus live through”- we all have driven the nails, thorns, and lashes into His body. The agony in the garden is where it started; I try to place myself there but I’m no better than a sleeping apostle. Trusting in Him while atoning for your own sins is the hardest thing, but it is the only way. Keep up the good fight and again thanks for posting this confession. We are never totally lost and we are always loved. You’re doing it right. God bless.

I'm 41 years old and my struggle started when I was about 14 and I discovered my Dads girly mags in his closet. My mom later found one of them under my bed and came to have a talk with me about it but it was seriously traumatic because she was crying and made me feel like I had nearly murdered someone. It was seriously confusing to say the least because I had just hit puberty and my hormones were raging and all you can think about 24/7 is girls and then mom comes and tells me how horrible I am. It's effected me my entire life because the trauma from my moms over reaction caused me to never admit to looking at girls or ever having a girlfriend. It's extremely surprising to hear a girl admit to a porn addiction, it's not really something I ever thought they struggled with too. I asked God into my heart in my early teens but only ever got baptized this past year. Baptism was a life changing moment when I actually could feel God in my life clear as day. And now I'm at a point in my life that all I want is to find a nice girl to carry off into the sunset and care for her forever. But we have this culture today where women tell us men that they don't need us and that they can handle and do everything all on their own. The number of christian women that I know are about zippo, let alone finding one who is single. I've basically given up before I've even began at dating or anything. It's pointless even trying. It's ironic because God made women so darn beautiful and at the same time virtually unobtainable. Hearing your story is extremely surprising. It makes you more relatable. Just listening to you I can tell you have a big kind heart which seems very rare anymore. As far as I understand when we are baptized we are made new. We are not the same person that did all of the bad things that we did in our pasts. I think if everyone could understand what it feels like after your baptized then way way more people would accept Jesus. I was told by my Mom how it felt but I never expected it to feel real. I watch Church service online every week and usually end up in tears at some point because God is real and I feel him in my life. Thank you for sharing with all of us and I wish you the very best in life.

Don't give up your search for a Godly woman. Wait for His timing. I actually did give up, but what I didn't realize was that I was not 'giving up' but surrendering my will to control my life. I basically shrugged and said, 'whatever you want, God'. Then I met my wife to be. And there was no pressure from me to find romance. We were just friends, which is the only place to start. Everyone has a different story and a different path. Just let God work in you and follow His timing.

your baptism demonstrated its power to cleanse you of sin BECAUSE that is whats its designed to do. Once we go down in the water, the old self is buried and a funeral takes place, as we come up out of the water we rise with Christ in newness of life. Paul explains all of this with much clarity in Romans ch 6. Breaking the bonds / chains of sin will have a VERY noticeable and physical effect on us. If we come up out of the water and we are still the same wretched person as when we down under, then we went in for the wrong reasons. soooopp many churches teach that baptism is mearly an expression of ones faith or a way to join a church etc. Its most definitely NOT - in John 3 we learn that we must born again of water and Spirit. Baptism is not a "work" etc as many denominations falsely teach. If it were a work, and the bible clearly teaches that we cant work our way to heaven, then why did Jesus himself COMMAND that we get baptised? He didnt tell us to do it so we would then be condemned for trying to add to the work on the cross etc!!! There is much unneeded confusion surrounding baptism and there need not be. A simple reading of the text and it becomes clear as day. Thank you for your testimony and im glad that God provided a way out of a behavior, that if not repented of, would have had eternal consequences.

Even though I am not a religious person, I am really happy that you found something that makes you feel alive and free again. For some it might be religion, for me it was travel. Finding you own purpose in life is one of the hardest things to accomplish

Problem is you have no purpose in life. If you died you’d just be one of billions that already came and went and the billions more that’ll come and go. So it’s best not to think too hard on the purpose of life. You’re just alive and will be for a short duration before you go. Chances are you’ll have never accomplished everything you wanted out of life and chances are you’ll leave with more regrets than success.

So proud of you, Jara. This is something so many girls have went through but never talked about because of fear. I went through this at an even younger age because I wasn’t taught. I was curious faster than most and I struggled until 13 and when I finally was caught by my parents and they truly helped me through and God delivered me! I lost a lot of self worth into my teenage years because I felt a lot of shame and that I was alone. And I was told in a toxic relationship that no man would ever want me because of that and that he was the only one that would ever love me. Which I know now isn’t true. I was also emotionally abused, belittled told I was no longer pure, even though I never lost my virginity to him or anyone. It wasn’t until I started dating my now, husband that I was able to get through some of that emotional trauma and loss of self worth. No, I haven’t been perfect or not sinned since, but Through God, I’m not the same. I relate to this so much. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for sharing! Overall on these sorts of topics or related things, maybe girls deserve encouragement to work against shame, especially if someone is going to tell a girl that what they are doing is wrong. Maybe we shouldn't just be telling people they are sinning and that what they are doing is "impure," but also encourage them or focus more instead on the love of God -- that maybe he doesn't want us to suffer. It's not (just) about meeting some golden standard or (just) about shame. Even if I didn't always feel ashamed or so wrong, I either did or I let myself be insecure or drill shameful thoughts into my head about my struggles/shortcomings.

You’re definitely not alone. As you stated, God does deliver us from the chains of addiction, depression, etc. because He’s alive and keeps His promises! I was molested at 12 years old, exposed to porn around the same time, and it became a snowball effect up until my 30s. I prayed to God that He’d take away the problems, that He’d deliver me from what kept me bound. It wasn’t until I got married, that it began to dissipate, and I finally declared that I had to be free from it. The temptations never completely left, yet Jesus helped me understand there’s a way out of every temptation. Because of this, there’s victory in the midst of the temptations that happen from time to time. I thought I wasn’t worth loving because I was too shy, and the addictions had me feel so dirty. God knew I needed the strength and broken free from the vicious cycle, that He was progressively using me for His glory. God is good!

I don't suffer with this issue but over the last 25 years I've seen more and more ladies struggle with this and they keep getting younger and younger. Most of the time they get introduced by a grommer, friends or lover. Never live in this regret and fear because now you know the love of God and that's the most important thing you'll ever know in this life. Keep talking because you'll help save lives of men and women from this evil and hopefully expose them to God. One last thing if you fell lead by God then speak on it and it will free you soon. This video had me, a grown man, in tears ! The fact that this beautiful, sweet, and intelligent young lady felt worthless and unloved says a lot about how pathetic and evil modern Western society has become. She is simply precious and her raw emotions are very beautiful and refreshing to me. It is obvious that she is a victim of society, nothing more and nothing less. I am not a Christian and do not follow any particular religion. But I admire and support her belief in Jesus because that has given her a sense of self worth that she should have always had if our poisonous society wasn't so toxic and irredeemable.

Hey man. You are absolutely right: we are precious and valuable, nothing less than that. And "evil modern western" society, as you call it, is very corrupted indeed. Nevertheless, I would like to open your eyes to something. Judging by your name, I suppose you belong to the Red Pill community. Do you see, in your own message, that you are putting far too much attention on bad things, instead of the good? I used to identify as MGTOW myself, but if we're being frank, that community is just as resentful as feminists. Look at your own comment for instance. Yes, society is mostly corrupt. Yet, I plead with you that you would start being more kind and loving to everyone, just like Jesus did. Even to feminists. Jesus Christ is not just a tool to find self-worth, Jesus is the way of life. If you truly want a blessed life, I tell you, Jesus is the way, because He will enable you to love unconditionally. Please, for your own good: reject the unfortunately resentful mentality that we subconsciously adopt in the Red Pill community, and turn to the love of Christ. I'm praying for you. 😇

@@mrzukunft You are correct that what is called MGTOW today is an abhorrent cult of hatred and brainwashing. But it was simply an embryonic philosophical concept pre 2000. Long story, but I am one of the original philosophers behind MGTOW - hence "Original" before "MGTOW". Old school MGTOW loved and adored women and were very troubled by modern feminism. We never portrayed women as evil but as victims themselves of dark, evil totalitarian fascism. One of my many coined terms (pre 2000) is the "Media Mobsters". The MGTOW movement was infiltrated and coopted around 2002, then "plants" we're installed (Sandman and his ilk) and online hate groups emerged that were we'll funded by the same totalitarian forces that are behind toxic feminism. I am making a very long story short, but Original MGTOW men never had a negative thing to say about women and, to the contrary, deeply loved and respected feminine women and wanted to support and protect them from evil feminist brainwashing. Our biggest focus was to drop out of society completely so as to "starve" the oligarchical fascist demonic system of its' number one human slavery resource. As far as Jesus is concerned, I live his philosophy more strictly and passionately than the vast majority of people that go to church.
@mrzukunft
@mrzukunft 2 жыл бұрын
@@originalmgtow9771 All right. Seems pretty fair, regarding "Original MGTOW". However, I think MGTOW, meaning "Men going their own way" is unbiblical, since men and women were created to complement each other. So I hope you do not believe in that ideology. Now, regarding your point about deeply loving and adoring feminine women (which we christians obviously encourage), that is indeed honourable. Yet, I still pointed you towards Jesus Christ, for now you are hating the "oligarchical fascist demonic system" and its adherents. Jesus himself commanded us to love each other, as well as our enemies, and even to pray for them! (Matthew 5:44-45: "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven.") As I have pointed out, you seem to be quite resentful towards society. Which I used to be as well back when I was a modern MGTOW person. I hope that you see the subconscious impact even your own ideology has had on you. Now, regarding your point about living Jesus' philosophy more strictly and passionately than the vast majority of people that go to church, I would like to remind you (if you have read the Bible) that human works, i.e. following the Moral Law strictly, does not result in everlasting life. For we have all fallen short of God and continue to do so everyday. We cannot compensate for our evil sins with good deeds. What saves us is our trust in Jesus: repenting of our sins, turning to Him and letting Him form our lives, because He has paid for all our sins on the cross. Paul talks lots about salvation in his letters. For example, Ephesians 2:8-10: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." So once again, I would like to point you to Jesus Christ and the cross. I myself found that the way to live a placid and blessed life is only possible through Jesus Christ, and I hope and pray that you would also see that. If you pursue the truth with all your heart, you will find it. In Matthew 7:13-14, Jesus says: "'Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.'" However, you are free to live your life as you would like to and choose the gate that most people enter through. Either gate will have its good and bad consequences. God bless you.

@@mrzukunft I appreciate your insights and concerns. But originally MGTOW never meant men going their own way and abandoning all contact with women. This is a deliberate distortion promulgated by the well funded fascists that coopted the movement. It is absurd and they thoroughly enjoy promoting a myopic hate filled cult of masochism and self deprication. Jesus promoted a way of life in his philosophy that encouraged the active bold rejection of the immoral and godless society of his time. Having been educated in philosophy and religion at a prestigious Jesuit university, I know the bible and the New Testament like the back of my hand. Jesus, from studying his actual words, was aggressively preaching the uncompromising rejection of the corrupt and morally bankrupt institutions of the Roman and Jewish societies of that time. The original MGTOW movement, philosophically speaking, is to a great extent modeled after both Jesus and Socrates' philosophies. Original MGTOWs hate no one and are very much like Taoists. It was essentially an anarchist passivist philosophy largely modeled after Tolstoy's book "Government IS Violence" where nonviolent strategies are offered to foment a positive and constructive revolution. BTW, Tolstoy was a devout Christian and considered himself a "Christian Anarchist" modeled after the example of Jesus himself.

It hits hard hearing the testimony of your teenage relationship because I was in an extremely similar relationship. However, I was the guy in the scenario and I was abusive. I was the guy in your relationship. I hurt my girlfriend to the complete degree you described. Hearing you talk about that really cemented the impact I had on my SO back when I was 16. I had, and still do have a pornography addiction which has caused great strife in my marriage. I’m 26 and have a child now. I found god when I was 23 and my life has changed. I’m working out 23 years of sin and guilt and remorse. Chief among my regrets is how I treated my girlfriend from the age of 14-17. I was just so awful and it was a product of my godless upbringing and lack of self worth. I was never taught about what it took to be a real man. I wish you didn’t have to endure that relationship, however, you’re only 19. You could have realized all this after 8 years into a crummy awful marriage as my coworker’s wife is at the moment. That situation is so sad and you have the wisdom you do now so you’ll never have to endure that, so in a sense, you’re lucky you learned this lesson so young. I watched this and felt sad for you but I want to thank you for finally helping me to realize the nature of the hurt I caused. I have a 7 month daughter and I just want to do everything in my power to help her feel loved and teach her not to ever have to endure a boy like myself at that age or the one you experienced. Thank you so much for sharing. I spent years addicted to porn & masturbation, and casual sex, as well as relying on recreational drugs and alcohol abuse to socialise. I totally worshipped pleasure and despised Christians for being so repressed! In my late teens, I had a strong relationship with Christ, but gradually let myself get lured away-mostly through porn. The desires were so powerful and I felt like a hypocrite-constantly asking for God's mercy-so I ran away from Him. I let my faith crumble and subconsciously sought out worldviews that let me keep my sin and didn't evoke guilt or shame. I tried being a Dawkins' atheist for a while but was eventually drawn to Eastern mysticism, albeit through a New Age lens, which allowed my hedonism. I partied hard for years and indulged in every desire I could without restraint. I would tell myself: if I could just sleep with this or that woman, or go to these parties & festivals, or find even more messed up porn, or try new drugs, then I'll finally feel satisfied, but, honestly, it was never enough. The high would inevitably wear off and I'd be off chasing something else. This year, my grandma got very sick and passed away. She was devout in her faith and I think she never stopped praying for me. During her final weeks, I think by the grace of God, I decided to pray for her-not because I believed in it, but because I thought it would be a nice, symbolic gesture for her. Praying was very awkward at first, and I could only manage a few seconds. Yet the more I prayed, the more repelled I was by my lifestyle, and the more I found myself being drawn to the idea of Christ. I told Him, I don't even know if you're real, but if You are, please help me. Guess that's all He needed because, the Sunday after Easter, I found myself repenting and weeping for both sorrow and joy! I never thought I'd ever call myself Christian again, no way! I'm all too aware that living the Gospel is impossible without supernatural strength, which is why I'm relying on grace for everything, every day! By willpower alone, the longest I'd ever been able to not masturbate was a few weeks, yet I believe by His grace, I've kept away from all that trash for the last 5 months. I guess if I could make 1 point it's this: never feel we have to run and hide from the Infinite Mercy of Jesus. NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES we have to approach the foot of the cross, He never gives up on us. If we ever fall, and we ALL do, don't believe the lie that it's too hard, or our sins are too great, too many, or too habitual to be forgiven. Just trust in his grace, mercy, and love and keep walking with Him. And please pray for me.

Your testimony is so mind blowing because I have struggled with watching inappropriate adult content since I was 15 since I never knew what’s appropriate when you get married with your spouse. God bless you sister 🙏🏼

It isn't easy to make a video like this and put it out there. Thank you for your testimony and I do think this will help other people! God Bless.
