I know how much Scott meant to you... that's why I came to visit your channel as soon as I heard on Sunday. He was a role model of mine, as well. I wanted to be like Razor as a kid, and Scott influenced my teenage years more than I realised... until a couple days ago. And the struggle you mentioned? I had that in common with Scott (and you) as well... but it was dope, not booze. My eyes welled up for him when I heard he finally got clean years ago. I'm 10 years clean myself, so I felt sort of proud of him, if that makes sense... Anyway... enough from me. Thanks for putting yourself out there for this video, brother. Means a lot. Rest in peace, Scott. I still use "The Razor's Edge" as my finisher in every wrestling game I play.
I've been a lifelong wrestling fan (29 years) and whenever a wrestler passes, it's always super-surreal to me. Like, most of us have never even met these people but it feels like we know them. We grow up watching them -- we see them every week, we see them more than we see most of our own family. We can almost predict what they're gonna say, or what they're gonna do, or how they're gonna react to a certain situation...yet, we've never had as much as a conversation together. And when they pass, it hurts. Cause you know, you may have never met this person, but they've been a huge part of your life. And now that part of your life is gone -- a piece of yourself is gone. That may sound corny as hell but it's true. The amount of time wrestling fans spend with these men and women, albeit through a TV screen, is unparalleled in any other form of entertainment. Like you said, week after week, year after year, you spend time with 'em. They become a part of your life in a way that's hard to explain. That being said, I think we can all take solace in the fact that Scott Hall didn't die an addict, but instead fought and BEAT his demons and died a Father, a HoF pro wrestler, and a Hero to many. RIP to the Bad Guy.

Dude, the A7X song was fitting and broke me. Rest in paradise Bad guy. I never personally got to experience his run first hand since I was a 90’s baby, but I remember watching his matches from old WWF and WCW pay per views tapes with my older brother and was gravitated by Scott’s machismo and charisma. Also to note that he was agile for a dude his height and stature. He went out on a high note by getting his life together and conquering his demons. Scott Hall will be missed by everyone.

Hall was my first ever favourite growing up as a kid, I thought Razor was just the coolest guy, he brought along a look and presence not many others had and the fan reception was well justified. RIP Bad Guy, thanks for your contributions to the business.

I have lots of favorite Scott Hall moments. One that comes to mind is when the nWo was trashing what they believed to be Lex Luger's car, and then Kevin Nash rips open the door and starts pawing through the stuff in the car and you can hear Hall in the background say "Ohhh look at the protein shakes, that's his!" I remember laughing so hard for such a long time. It was also great when he visited Virgil's booth and was shitting on him for selling the Mike Tyson memorabilia

I didn’t get into Scott Hall until I was older, mainly because he was nearing the end of his career when I became a fan of wrestling. The more of his that I watched when I got older the more I came to like and appreciate him. One of the greatest to never win the world title. See you on the other side, big guy. Got a golden toothpick when you walk through the pearly gayes

One of the coolest wrestlers ever. He came to Ireland around 4 years ago for a Q&A retrospective thanks to our wrestling promotion OTT. He had so much to say about his career. Told him that I loved his ladder match against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 10 and he was incredible in the NWO. Signed my poster and my wrestling games. He had a ton of respect for Mr Perfect, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash and DDP and loved wrestling them. So heartbreaking that he passed away. He will always be the Bad Guy.

When i saw the news, the first thing I thought was "what are nikateen's thoughts?".. I've always been a fan of Razor, Nash and taker, and even if you don't 'know' celebrities, if they were with you when you're a kid with a kid's imagination, it hurts to see them in their lowest and slowly getting lower. I'm glad that he got better near the end, even if it ended abruptly.
@juegofuego67152 жыл бұрын
This one hurts a lot. My introduction to wrestling was Razor Ramon vs Shawn Michaels cuz I owned a Shawn Michaels greatest hit VHS tape back in 96 way before I ever watched Raw or anything on cable. Razor was featured in 2 matches on that tape and I remember thinking he was so cool and thought he was Spanish so I liked that he represented latinos, he wasn't but i still thank him for that. I loved the razors edge and his facial expressions and overall look. I remember even in 2002 when the NWO joined the WWE as bad as it was Scott Hall was one of my favorites just because of his Swagger and look. I even created him in SmackDown just bring it. Goes to show how good he was because despite the horrible booking he was still awesome to a 12 year old kid. Outside of the ring Scott also inspired me with everything he went thru and overcame. The man had a great mind for the business as well and I know that's known by people but I thought that for myself when I heard him on the Steve Austin show a couple years ago. Great worker, great mind, great personality and great family man. R.I.P bad guy

Great heartfelt video bro. Thanks for sharing and God Bless you. I started watching wrestling in the middle of the New Generation Era. Scott along with Bret and Taker made me fall in love with wrestling (Bret being my all time favorite). Scott (Razor) was definitely the coolest character in my opinion. I recall watching that early episode of Jerry Springer as a kid with my mom, when he appeared to encourage those two kids with HIV to KEEP FIGHTING! And Him handing over the I.C. Belt to them was a precious moment as well. Rest in Power Scott Hall!

You and this channel actually popped into my mind during all of the news breaking. This isn't your average 'Oh that guys gone?! Man that sucks....' kind of situation. To use current gen parlance - this one hit different. Just as every wrestling fan has cupped an ear and proclaimed 'Whatcha gonna do?!', or raised an eyebrow and asked 'do you smell what The Rock is cooking?', or hit the Shawn Michaels pose whilst singing 'Im just a sexy boy', every wrestling fan has surfer walked into a place, thrown a toothpick, done the spooky fingers, 'too sweet'ed a friend and said 'Hey yo, chico!'. Scott's the most influential non world champion in the history of the game. His impact was huge, so it's no wonder why he left such an impression on you, and and all of our lives. I echo many if your sentiments here. I'm so happy that he didn't go out as a down and out, like we all thought he very well may have done at some points a few years back. Seeing him turn his life around alongside Jake was one of the best moments in wrestling of the past decade. Although, that does make it seem crueler that we've lost him early anyway, this is much better than the alternative. Just keep on keeping on brother. Things like your channel will keep his memory alive. Now let's hear it one more time...for the Bad Guy!

Very cool to see a heart warming Scott Hall tribute opposed to the main stream ones that just do it for likes and views, I got into wrestling in the late 90s and as soon as I discovered Scott in WCW, I went back to catch his work as Razor Ramon, I was definitely hooked by the charisma, I hadn't even seen Scarface by then so I thought it was all original, but even today as a full grown adult, he did that character justice, to the point where I wish he would've been in the film itself, I can only imagine him as Tony's henchman, how great and organic that would've been, RIP to the Bad Guy and THANK YOU for everything to the deep down Good Guy

I remember him from before he actually wrestled and was just doing the promo videos. He was so different and cool. I loved his catch phrases and his toothpick. Then these last few years his interviews were so entertaining; more than actual WWE at the time. Imagine being a wrestling fan and only watching old school stuff (I’m sure a lot can relate). He was such a nice guy too. That Jerry Springer episode showed him to be a better role model than any celebrity in history. RIP Chico

You were indeed preparing something really nice! Great tribute, great editing and good song choice. I know almost nothing about your personal life, but by the way you treat everybody here, how you express yourself, your opinions, you seem to be a really great guy. Scott Hall was a great inspiration to you and helped shape your character and personality. I really hope your true fellings about him reach him whenever he is now and help bring him a little peace. But no doubt your mom is the most responsible here. A lot of respect to her. Raising a child by yourself is really hard and I know she is truly proud about who you've become. She can rest asure that she fullfiled her role as a mother really well. I like commenting to all your videos, not only because you read and answer them and are always kind, but also to help the algorithm recommend your videos more. I just turned 30. This one hit emotionally. As a kid i never had cable but always played the n64 games like world tour and revenge. It takes me to a place as a kid to remember playing those. In the last year i been curious about the lives of these figures which has let to really interesting stories, podcasts and documentaries. Growing up in the 90s to now is so different and innocent and wrestling and television was a reflection of that. Scott's story was tragic like some of the things he went through like many other wrestler's of the time. I hope he got to say goodbye to his children and family. Hard works pays off. Dreams come true. Bad times don't last. But bad guys do.

These things happen, it shouldn’t hit the way it does because, like most celebrities, they aren’t family but it hits like family. My realization of this was when Bowie died. It crushed me. Hall was an amazing talent that will be immortalized by our subculture. Kids like us remember trying to explain to our moms why we were cutting the shirts sleeves and then down to the waist line.
